Valentine’s Day has just passed so everyone that writes about saving money has been writing about how to save money on Valentine’s Day. One blogger reflected on the money lessons learned through marriage. We had a post here on frugal ways to say I love you and we liked another post about using ebates for Valentine’s.

Even though love is in the air, there is also still a lot of worry about the economy floating around. Many people are noting the importance of taking on new financial philosophies. Bloggers discussed ways of creating an abundance mindset, making a ten minute budget and taking advantage of tax credits. One blog challenged us last week to dedicate seven hours to financial change. Here on this blog we talked about keeping a positive attitude during a recession.

Of course, the best way to deal with the economic situation we’re in is to find creative ways to earn money. People around the blogosphere are talking about things like their weirdest jobs and ways to use gold coins.

Interesting stuff – and useful too! Happy saving!
