The politics of money was a topic that seemed to be big in the personal finance blogging world this past week. Bloggers looked at homebuyer tax credits, the national economy and the economic stimulus package which is being taked to death in the U.S. right now.
Another popular topic this week seemed to be the topic of making money. Here on this blog we gave you tips on finding things around the house that you can sell for extra income. There were a lot of other money making ideas suggested as well; the best of those posts was one on using a blog to make money.
For those people who aren’t busy working, though, it’s as important to figure out how to save money as it is trying to make money. We learned some tips for keeping spending under control. We also found advice on where to look when scrounging for change or doing price comparisons. And here on this blog we talked about ways to spend your free time without spending your money.
