Simple Frugal Tips Which Will Cut Your Costs and Energy Consumption

Many of us do not realize that we always leave electrical appliances on all the time. With the cost of energy soaring, some of things you can do to save money at home are the following:
Computer: We have been used to leaving the computer on all night, please don’t do that. Save your data and switch off the computer. While the computer does not use much energy over time, you will definitely save money.
Before going to bed: walk around the house and make sure you have switched off all the appliance and lights. If you do not need an electrical clock, switch it off. In most cases, battery operated clocks use much less energy.
When ironing: switch off the iron a few minutes before you are going to finish. The iron will still remain hot for the next few minutes.
Teapot: Even though the majority of kettles switch off by themselves when the water is boiling, you can switch them much early when the water has boiled. Do not boil a gallon of water each time you make coffee – only boil enough for you need. Why waste energy to boil water and not use the water?
