Mobile coupons are already green coupons but they’re starting to get greener thanks to T-Mobile USA. The company has recently released a new phone application that offers eco-friendly mobile coupons to customers who use the ap. This is likely to be the first application in a line of emerging green coupon aps.

Mobile coupons are already considered to be greener than printable coupons simply because of the fact that they don’t use up paper or ink since they aren’t being printed. T-Mobile’s Green Perks application takes this service to the next level. It specifically offers mobile coupons for green businesses and green services. Advertisers of all kinds can create their own coupons through the site but the deals have to be eco-friendly in some way.

Saving money and going green are two ways of life that go hand-in-hand. Reducing waste also typically leads to a reduction in expenditures. It makes sense, then, that people who are interested in receiving mobile coupon offers on their phones are people who have an interest in going green. These are people who make conscious decisions about how to live.

Mobile coupons are increasingly popular due to the fact that they may be more efficient than printable coupons. Combined with the trend towards going green, this could mean that the Green Perks ap is just the first of many green mobile coupon aps that we’ll see in the next year or so. This may include expansion of T-mobile’s program to its overseas offices as well as development of green mobile coupon aps for Android and iPhone customers.
