There are over nine million millionaires in the world today with about three million in each the United States and Europe. What are all of these people doing with their money? Some of them may be selfishly living it up with a lavish lifestyle but a lot of them are also sharing the wealth. Every day there are millionaires who give away money. These aren’t just celebrities who have billions in the bank and who feel social pressure to give their money away. Some of these people are hard-working entrepreneurs who give back just because they think it’s the right thing to do. Others hang on to their cash until the end but decide to will it to charities or strangers upon their deaths. And some of them might even be willing to give theirs to you!
Why Millionaires Might Give Away Their Money
Why is it that millionaires are giving their money away? Some of the reasons may include:
• A desire to help others. Many millionaires do just give out of the kindness of their hearts. They figure that they have enough to spare so they should help others. These people may give to charities, organizations or individuals.
• Tax benefits. Let’s face it; a lot of people give money to charity because it’s a tax break to do so and that group of people includes millionaires.
• Social or political pressure. In some circles, it may be seen as somewhat of an obligation to give away at least some money to needier people.
• Personal tragedy. In other cases the millionaire has experienced a tragedy, such as an illness, and wants to contribute money to a specific cause related to that tragedy.
• Guilt. Millionaires who didn’t earn their money but instead inherited it may choose to give out of a feeling of guilt because they so easily got what others don’t have.
• Inspired by others who have given their money away. There’s a popular television show called Secret Millionaire which launched in the UK and then spread to the US. In this show, millionaires go undercover and give away money to people they believe are deserving of it. Shows like this have inspired other wealthy people to give their money away as well.
20 Examples of Millionaires Who Have Given Away Money
1. Ben Way. This man is famous for giving away his money because he was the first millionaire featured on the aforementioned UK show Secret Millionaire. He was a teenage millionaire entrepreneur and one of the first true dot-com success stories. He went on the show in 2006 and gave away £40,000 (which was split between another young entrepreneur, a member of his community and a youth organization). He has also been involved in a number of other charity pursuits.
2. Randy Pond. This man was another dot-com era success story who worked as the Vice President of Cisco Systems and gathered millions of dollars in stock options. He decided that philanthropy was important to him and helped to set up the Pond Family Foundation which has given away tens of thousands of dollars to charitable projects.
3. Charles Crystle. Here’s yet another example of a tech millionaire who donated millions to charity. This man operated a business called ChiliSoft which was acquired by Cobalt Networks in 2000. As a result of the acquisition, Crystle gained about $15 million. However, he committed approximately $11 million of that money to fund Central American non-profit organizations that teach high-tech business skills to people in developing countries.
4. Ken Nickerson. This man made millions of dollars in hedge funds and then went on to the world of philanthropy, using a lot of his own money to fund charitable organizations. Among other things, his family foundation provided a $15 million grant last year for the startup of Boston Rising which is an organization that fights poverty in Boston.
5. Bruce Bastian. You would think that a millionaire giving away money was always a good thing but sometimes it’s highly controversial. That was the case in 2008 when Utah millionaire Bruce Bastian chose to give some of his millions away to the gay marriage movement in California. At the time, Californians were fighting to protect the gay right to marriage. Many Utah residents are opposed to gay marriage and were donating money in opposition of gay marriage. Bastian’s decision to donate $1 million in favor of gay marriage was therefore highly controversial where he lived.
6. John Crean. Regardless of your personal and political beliefs, giving away money for religious reasons can be a good thing. John Crean started giving away 10% of his income way back in 1954 as part of his church’s belief in tithing. As he began to make more and more money in business, he increased his donations to 20% and eventually to 50%. In his final year before retirement he made $176.8 million and gave half of that away. Not all of this money went to his church; much of it also went to various other charitable organizations as well as to establishing the Crean Foundation which is a charitable organization of his own.
7. Percy Ross. Most millionaires give away only a portion of their money but a few of them give away just about everything. That’s the case with Percy Ross. The man was successful in various businesses including fur, plastic film and media. However, he was most well-known for loving to give his money away. He had a syndicated newspaper column called Thanks A Million through which readers could share their stories in a plea for his money. He gave away over $20 million to both individuals (such as those needing dental or medical care) and organizations (including hospitals and refugee groups). In his eighties, he was left without almost any money at all because he’d given his millions away!
8. Eli Saleeby. Ross isn’t the only one to give away a large chunk of his money. Eli Saleeby did the same thing although he wasn’t penniless when he died at age 98. He had come to America as an emigrant from Lebanon and worked his way into a self-made millionaire. Throughout his life he made both big and small donations including donations of over $1 million each to colleges and medical centers. He died without a fortune but with a whole community around him who appreciated his gifts.
9. Duncan Bannatyne. This millionaire is a Scottish entrepreneur and author who is aid to be worth over £3 million. He already donates about one third of that amount to a combination of his own charitable organization and a Romanian organization that assists HIV+ orphans. However he’s gone one step further and says that he’s going to give away his entire fortune before he dies.
10. Alberto Vilar. Here’s a warning story about how you should probably earn your millions legitimately if you want to give them away. Vilar was an investment advisor who donated millions of dollars to support the opera and other vocal music performance. However, he was arrested and convicted last year for securities fraud, money fraud, wire fraud and various other activities. Many of the opera groups that he gave to have tried to distance themselves from association with him as a result of this scandal.
11. Clive Cowdery. This English businessman made his millions in the insurance business but he gained attention because of his donations within the industry. He sold a company in 2007 at a worth of £245 million and immediately donated £20 million of that to Resolution Foundation which helps low-income people to earn more money.
12. Peter Cruddas. This man is an example of someone who inherited money but didn’t waste it. He has been highly successful in the internet securities business and has created a charitable organization under his name. He also has donated over £100m of his own personal money to youth organizations in an effort to “restructure the distribution of wealth”.
13. Christopher Hohn. This man and his wife are well-known as leading British philanthropists. They have created their own large charitable organization called The Children’s Investment Fund Foundation which aids children in developing nations. Hohn is a hedge fund manager who has donated personal money to this foundation. He and his wife ranked #2 on a list of British philanthropists last year which says that they’ve given away £236.8 million.
14. David and Heather Stevens. Another British couple that made the same list as the Hohns, the Stevens are founding managers of an insurance company called Admiral. They’re worth about £100 million and that’s the same amount that they gave away in charity shares last year. Talk about giving back 100%!
15. John White. Here’s an interesting case of a man whose friends and neighbors didn’t even know he was a millionaire until after he died. He’d made millions in business but lived a modest life (in a retirement home nonetheless!) until he died in his late 90’s. When his will was read it turned out that he gave away £2 million to various charities and organizations and left only £40,000 for his family members. This is a bit different from giving away your millions while you’re still alive but it’s definitely an interesting case of a millionaire giving away his money.
16. Larry Stewart. This man didn’t go quite as long as John White without revealing that he was a millionaire but he did have an interesting money-related secret. For 26 years, he went around anonymously every December as a “Secret Santa” and handed money to people on the streets. He gave away over one million dollars in the course of his short lifetime which ended at age 58 from cancer. He had only revealed within that last year that he was indeed the Secret Santa.
17. Cashtomato.com. Sometimes the desire to give away money is intended to help a millionaire eventually gain more money in return. That was probably the case with Cashtomato.com’s financial giveaway which happened in 2008. The company had an anonymous millionaire founder who launched a campaign to give away money in order to gain attention for the startup video site. He gave away money through website sign-ups, to random passersby in major cities and at planned events in public settings. Unfortunately, it didn’t all go smoothly. There was a riot at Union Square in New York with too many people trying to grab at the cash and the site is no longer active. Perhaps giving away money isn’t something that should be done impulsively even if you’re a millionaire!
18. Russell Brunson. Here’s another example of a millionaire using a giveaway for his own financial gain. Brunson is an Internet millionaire who makes his money sharing “dot com secrets”. Some people love his work and others say it’s a scam but whatever the case he’s managed to make a lot of money at his job. And he recently announced that he’d be giving away the secrets of his work for free. Of course that alone doesn’t qualify him as a millionaire who gives away his money. But apparently the secrets come pre-loaded onto a free mp3 player so he is investing at least some money in giving away these gadgets. What do you think? Does this qualify as a millionaire who gives away money or does his self-serving purpose defeat the greater good here?
19. Andrew Paul. Andrew Paul is being a lot more blunt about his self-serving efforts than Russell Brunson but the winner of this millionaire’s giveaway efforts does stand to gain a lot. Paul is a millionaire banker who wants to sell his Kent countryside home which is valued at £1.1million. Knowing that the market is bad right now, Paul decided to do something drastic. He’s allowing people to enter a contest with tickets costing just £20 each. The winner not only gets the house but also gets his Aston Martin and his motorboat. Technically Paul could either win or lose on this giveaway. If he were to sell the maximum number of tickets then he’d make £4 million which would actually be a profit. Sales haven’t been good and so the initial competition end date has been extended (through November of this year). At that point, he’s probably going to have to make good on his offer which could mean taking a loss. Paul isn’t necessarily high-ranking on the do-gooder list as a millionaire who gives his money away but he’s doing something creative that could win someone a million dollar lifestyle for barely any cost at all so perhaps he should get a bit of credit for that.
20. Lydia Nash. To be fair, this young woman wasn’t a true millionaire but she deserves a mention anyway because if she had a million dollars then she’d give it away. She went on the show Who Wants to be a Millionaire where she won £32,000. She chose to give away the entire amount to a home in Thailand for disabled children. She kept her job as a part-time waitress, continued her studies and generally didn’t have her 19-year-old life changed in any way as a result of winning that money.
Famous Millionaires Who Give Away Money
The people listed above are not people who are necessarily famous. They’re just millionaires who did well for themselves in one way or another and chose to give back. But there are a lot of celebrities, members of royalty and truly famous millionaires who also give to individuals and charity. Some of the most famous people who do so include Bill Gates, Ted Turner and Warren Buffet in the U.S. and Lord David Sainsbury, Sir Tom Hunter, Dame Steve Shirley and Anita Roddick in the UK.
Can You Get A Millionaire to Give Money to You?
It’s great that these millionaires are giving away so much money. But what does it mean for you? Many people want to know how to get millionaires to send some of that money their way. There is a lot of advice out there on this issue but there are no tried-and-true methods of getting money from a millionaire. Here are some of the tips that might make it more likely:
• Go through an organization. As you can see, many of the philanthropists who donate large sums of money are giving that money to an organization instead of to individuals. As a result, it makes sense for you to apply for funding through an organization first. There are organizations for everything from funding small businesses to aiding the ill. Search for organizations that relate to your situation and try to get money that way.
• Befriend generous people. There are some people out there (such as Ross Perry listed above) who donate money to individuals just because the person needs the money. If you befriend people who tend to be generous and kind (and who happen to have some money in the bank) then you may be able to get some of that money when you need it.
• Just ask. There are some people who believe that your best option is simply to locate millionaires and request money from them. You would typically do this by searching through local newspapers and business magazines to see who is making money. Do research into what causes they support. Then draft a formal letter arguing your case for why they should give you money. It may or may not work but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
• Be kind to others. The main thing that you should keep in mind is that people give money to others who are kind to them or kind to others. Shows like Secret Millionaire point to the fact that we as a society want to give to people who are already giving to others and doing the best that they can to better the world around them. The more effort that you put in to helping yourself, the more likely it is that someone with money will want to help you out.

I found this article helpful, i’ve suffured alot of personal and family hardship and tragedy. Through out all of my tragedy I still have the strong desire to push on and still help others in the process. I was looking for helpful information on people helping others; therefore, I could help people as I am being helped financially.
There was a time when I used to believe that there were people out there who genuinely cared about others who were far less fortunate than they..but over the years in trying to gain just the affirmation that my request was heard, I found that they simply don’t exist. I now think that these online ‘come on’ offers of monetary help are just hoaxes. Sure, there are those philanthropists who give to organizations that are supposed to then distribute grants and loans to those who need them..but very rarely do I see any success stories from individuals in need, but rather only other organizations. Seems the odds are really stacked against women where grants are concerned as well. Sad indeed, but it seems as though the saying that “It will be far easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the gates of heaven” is far truer than all the hype. Perhaps us poor unfortunates are like court jesters to the rich.
I was reading about millionaries you give away money free. I am a working mom who have two sons one is disabled and the other is in school and I have two student loans that I would love to see get paid off. I live in a drug infested neighborhood and there always someone either getting killed or being busted for drugs. I was out of work for almost two years and finally I am back to work. But I have some bills that I did pay off myself and others I am struggling to pay. I would sure like to get some help. I have proof of everything. I have even been trying to move out of the neighborhood and get a new home is what I dream of, but do to me being low in income and not having good credit anymore due to lost of job its really hard. I’d like to tell a story of giving that I did while owning a recycling business and that was giving a lady a dryer that had no money to dry her kids clothes for school. When she got here I was not in a steady job so I went into the Army for better support for my new little family, then 911 hit us all and I was sent to Iraq, then I came home. One year later I was sent back to Iraq and had to leave my child again for 480 day’s. After all this I came home thinking that it was all over for me but I was wrong, I had to back to Iraq for one more year. Now I’m home and I can’t seem to get a job or take care myself or my child I’m having a real hard time I have ptsd, and I have no money, bad dreams,and I don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. After all this I have to go to Afghanistan soon, if i would have the money i would set up my child with a real home and an education and start a program for the vet’s better then the one we all ready have with a person that has been their. I’am a citizen of one of the third world countries, the irony is that where i come from I’m considered better of than others , which is true and i cannot deny, but due to a father who decided to abandon us, and uncles who forged documents to steal what my grandfather had left my mother, since they believe they deserve it more just because they are males (that’s easy due to the fact that we live in a male dominant society) anyway my mother now is suffering from diabetes , i studied in good schools , went to a good university but cant pay whats left of my fees to get my certificate, my younger brother finished high school , a good school too, but now stuck for three years at home and also cant get his certificate from school to follow his education in a university because again we do not have the money for his university..lately i have become tough with my mother blaming her & telling her that she should have accepted reality and not put us in education systems that are too expensive for us nor should she have borrowed money to the point that we live a scandal every day in the neighbor hood which stresses her and rises her blood sugar…she said that she didn’t imagine that things would deteriorate that way, and that she doesn’t regret the education she fought to give us because without it we wouldn’t have been who we are, two children who are bright well raised well educated with great potential to make a change , she said that a financial problem will be resolved at some point,but there are people who have problems that are difficult & almost impossible to solve so we should thank God and hope and search for a solution..what i think is that i would have rather been extremely poor so i would be able to go at the streets and beg or get the attention of NGO’s , i wish my problem was the meal of the day , because there are so many people who give attention to those in that level of poverty but not to those who seem ok..and i really mean the word “seem”..

Dont kid yourself,most if the rich are just glad they are this way,and they need people to look down on,it makes them feel richer to see you poor and needy and asking for money,it makes their head swell and then they make a joke out of you!Is this what you want? I have known people rich and to me most of them are the poorest in spirit and in many other ways.You dont see the rich helping the homeless to have houses,But i do like what the people of extreme home makerovers is doing,great job! there.But you dont see the rich helping people with operations they cannot afford and could likely die from.Maybe i should refrase this.Some help,few,And to put it planly-they dont want to come into contact with people who want their money,in their eyes you cannot be trusted ect.The fact is it is their money no matter if they are swimming in it and can or could help many others to have a better life.I wish you all well in your search,but maybe you need to look deeper-do you have a talent?Many times God blesses us with gifts that will prosper us if we will use them.God Bless.

2009 has been the worst year for me,on top of the bad economy and jobless, i have to deal with chronic back pain and neck,this christmas was the worst ever i could only give a small gift to my little sister and nothing to my mom and brother cause i dont have the cash, not much to say about new years either,i have medicaid insurance and it has been very difficult to get the service and help i need and alot of time consuming to get where i want to be with my help,it looks like i mite have to leave my room where i live by the end of feb 2010 dont know where i will go hope i can find a relative to live with until i can get some help,i don’t beilive that much in giving to charities or organizations work for all but i can honestly say when contacting an individual personaly and talking to them works 100%

I am hoping someone will help me and my family. I have had to move to 4 different states for my job. Because of the economy and an employer who taxed me to death to move me, we are living in the negative every week and trying to get ahead, but it doesn’t seem to work. On our last move we found a great church which is a blessing to us and we believe God will take care of us. We have taken a second small loan from our 401 K and still haven’t got money for my daughters medication, which helps her tremendously. It gets very depressing living like this. I mean this from my heart. Can someone help us with a gift? We adopted our daughter from good friends of ours and we made a promise to them that we would raise her in the church as a Christian. It is hard sometime to even get to church as we only have 1 car that is on the road.

I am blessed, I have a MS, a job and a fair paycheck. I am a single woman that takes in foster children and give them all that I have to keep them safe and in a warm loving enviornment. I wish that I could do more. My home (I own) is a small three bedroom one bath. I would like to adopt and give a permanant home to the children that are not able to go home for various reasons. You can your time, give your love, give hope and inspiration, give your help and advice…Giving is the best thing that one can do for another and it becomes quite addictive after a while. I have never done anything like this before. However, I am kidney cancer survivor who has been struggling for over 5 years with complication due to my 2005 surgery. I again had a additional surgery in 2008. Not having health insurance and unable to work anymore. After years of struggling last year, I finally got approved for my SSI and medicaid. Well, I had to nearly die before they would approve me. I received a SSI check for less than $700.per month which pays for our morgage leaving about $90.00 per month to live off. My husband has 5 hernias in his stomach,sleep disorder,and other health problems, he has been needing surgery for over 6 years but no doctor will do it because the charity care will not pay for the doctors. SS and Government will not approve him of Disability. He does odd jobs and vary little work due to him capabilities and he is undesirable candidate for employment. (No One wants to hire him) The last several months he has been suffering severaly with his stomach. I dont know when I will have to rush him to the hospital. Although, he doesnt make much per month maybe $300.or 400. during good times. We are barely making it, low . Our property taxes are 2 years behind and we always struggle during the winter time. I afraid that my husband life is in danger. Due the fact he cant get the help we need. I do not know how this works but if there is anything anyone can do. We would truly appreciate it. We are christian and go to church ever Sunday and Wednesday. And believe me some of the things we have been through the Lord has alway bless us. We would love to be able to help others too!

Hello, by now it is being 8 months I am trying to get some help for me and my adoptive young girl but is it being impossible for some reason I do not understand. It is very close to 2 years I don´t get an income and have sell almost all my belongings or changed them for food or others. We spent Christmas with a dish of popcorn on the dark as we couldn´t pay electric bill of just 12.78. Finally I manage for my girl to be accepted on a special artesans school which is just 18.00 monthly but in 4 months we have not being able to pay even that so she was asked to retire and come next year! She is absent of classes many times a month because we don´t have sometimes few cents for buses, the other day she couldn´t take her homework to school because needed 1.40 for copies and we didn´t have. Actually we both are starving and to make everything worse our cat seems to be pregnant. I know in cases like ours it sounds so ridiculus to care for the cat but we do, Ï cannot kill her or through her away of our lifes, we just try to share with her the little that we have. In my country Ecuador, country under a big crisis, there is no such a thing like a monthly check for unemployed people, you either rob, kill or die if you don´t have a job. My girl and I don´t dare do any of those. The house is terribly distroyed and for that we need over 4000 dollars but I would just be happy if I get some 1.200 to pay late bills of 2-3 months and at least 400.00 to begin working a network or something like that. At least to begin as once I get started I expect will continue to get what we need to survive and later, to live better. We have been dreaming to buy the sewing machine to work but seems too too hard to get it, so at least, PLEASE, could someone help us to begin with networking, what we need to change our lifes means cents in countries like USA, but still, is been impossible to get. It seems like no matter what I do I can’t get myself out of this financial rut. I am a 21 year old woman who has made some financial mistakes and am now in the process of cleaning them up. I am open minded and creative enough to figure out a way I may be of some assistance to someone who is generous. I am in the cosmetic field so I can offer anything from makeup to a massage. I can also help someone organize their office, home, etc. I can keep someone company or maybe be the company for a loved one. So, if there is someone out there who is willing to hear me out and lend a hand to help me through this hard time please respond to this posting with what you have in mind. I am honest, upfront, and very respectable. I am well mannered and well groomed. I am not someone who takes things for granted or someone who finds pleasure in using people. I’ve been appreciative for everything I have recieved in life and am thankful for each day and try to stay positive despite the obstacles placed before me. Hello…I’m a 38 yr old woman w/ 2 teen boys…I recently recieved my GED back in 2009 of Jan and since this iI have applied to numourous jobs w/ no promises of employment. What I lack to better myself and my children is a college education…My intrests are vet care,STNA and or PRN,medical assistant, and social work…Due to me not being approved for college,grats etc since I have no way of paying any of it back I turn to this site for some guidance and assistance if possible to better our future….Currently I own my own car but unable to maintain the services needed to keep my vehicle in running condition….Also another dream I’ve had was to open a store called JCBargains for low income people, that allows them to shop/exchange and afford the nessesities needed for them and there family….I’ve located an abandanded K-Mart building in our town where this could be possible….this would be a non profit organization and my time would be committed to this agency….if I’m not able to run the facility I sure would like to work with someone who has knowledge and can train me as well…this is how I would like to give back my time for your services…ty for taking the time to read this….Sincerly Jody
I was reading a article earlier about a millionaire who completely gave up his fortune because he was miserable with the life style he lead. Guilty, overwhelmed from watching those around him that were less fortunate, he decided to give it all to charity organizations so that he may be at peace somewhat with himself and have the gratification of knowing he was doing the right thing that was led by his heart. I myself have always been led within by the thought that there was always someone else in much greater need than I was!But, It is true there comes a time that we all need help, asking is just movement of two lips, pride though seems to find its way to halt that. I have watched as we all know how our economy is, my self made business fall to pieces now, not a big one, just enough to keep a couple of workers going plus myself, work is non-exsistant(building and remodeling) tools are being sold just to somewhat pay for gas and some bills. I have 3 children, girls of youg ages that I pay support for, but that in itself has fallen way behind and now I am being hauled to court for this, I send what I can, at least its better than nothing but still that does not seem to appease the courts nor the ex-wife! Yes, my next stop will be the jail house for this! Courts dont want to hear why you are not working, not taking into account our economy, Ive looked for anything to do, its just not out there, not where I reside. Creditors are calling non-stop, everything is in shambles, makes you just want to give up to elude all of it. This takes a man to his knees, having to look at my wife and not even able to buy her something for her birthday, let alone this past christmas. But yet she managed after I told her I wanted nothing but peace and happiness for christmas, to buy me a winter coat. I felt so small when that happened. Its not the material things I worry and stress over now, its the bills, knowing That I dont know if and where anything will be coming from, no medical here for us, as is with alot in this country, its just a day to day survival. So yes, I am asking, IF THERE IS A ear out there hearing or reading this, that is blessed to be fortunate, with a caring, helpful heart, I ask for help, I ask for understanding from you.I am a man that has always provided, and having that will to provide taken away from influences I dont control, takes me to places within that I dislike, God bless and Yes, he is my rock!1

I am just asking for a home. I have living here and there for a year now and would like to get my life back together. I’ll be 66 this Friday. I lost my place of residence last April, after breaking my back in an automobile accident, on Jan. 5,2009. I have recovered and I am working part time, making enough to be able to pay utilities. My $438 ss check only pays my car payment and insurence. I am not giving up, nor do I want to give up my morals by moving in with someone for an easer life. I still have to live with myself. I am 17 years old. Both my parents have passed away my dad when i was 13 and my mom when i was 16 and 5 months pregnant. I am currently unemployed because of me going to school and raising a child. I however am not on welfare so my income is very low … i do not get any help from the dad of the baby and i do own my own place that i saved up for wile i was pregnant and homeless. I’m going to be honest, down to earth. I don’t really believe if i write this I’m expecting things, I’m not. Its just my thoughts and what i want to accomplish. I’m a 17 years old girl who has only 28 dollars in the bank and i do not have a job, yeah i know its shameful on my part. But anyway, I want to save up about 5,000 dollars to go to Japan and South Korea. I believe that its more out there then where i am now. I want to explore and learn different cultures and truly see if the grass is greener on the other side. I cant ask my mom because she works two jobs to support me and 5 other siblings. I’m currently in high school and taking college classes so i can get scholarships and grants and things to try to make my dreams come true. I’m not asking anyone for anything because that would be selfish on my behave. I just want to tell everyone who comes on here that even tho life is hard and you go through challenges, don’t give up and try to work it out on your own. Don’t ask others just to give you things because maybe they went to hard challenges as well but got through it that got them to the places they are now. Hi, i am a male 54 years old getting Social Security Disability. About 6 years ago i went through a divorce. Well that was only the beginning of my troubles. I had worked for a major manufacture of aircraft and got laid off after 30 years of service to this company in 2005. I looked for a job, no one would hire me. I had health insurance for 6 months after i was laid off. As soon as that was gone. About two months later . I developed a hip promblem. Went to see a doctor and i ended up getting a total hip replacement in June of 2006. I applyed and got Social Security disability eventually. But during that process i had to wait 29 months to get it. Anyway, with hardly no income for like 2 1/2 years. I lost my car and my home. Fell way behind on my bills and could not afford to pay them. And now with the disability payments that i am getting. With that little bit of money i can not catch up on my bills. So i am asking you for $46,000 to get my bills paid off and start over again.The $46,000 dollars would cover all of my bills, as i owe that amount to all of my creditors.

I had a room mate that bled me dry and was taken in by he was on drugs I tried to help get him off them I am a caring person do anyting to help anyone and he was a con man and I did a search to try and find him but changed his name. I was taken in for £7000 not to mention my emotional state as was going through a divorce. I then got on my feet though a job which was minimum wage and the guy my manager walked off with hundreds of thousands promising houses to those who gave him money he has since been put away Mark Howe and serving time. So then I got another job though part time and due to no more hours had to leave and been trying ever since seem to do well as the feedback from interviews I get but never seem to get the job so currently unemployed but activiely seeking. I am not asking for money just a mentor to help me make some and although I have not get any money myself I would be willing to do what it takes even volentary until it gets going. I am willing to work hard.

How does one start a letter to ask someone they don’t know for help?
I guess I should start with who I am. My name is Chris and I am a 48 year old woman. I have been single…divorced for about 11 years. I have 2 kids…my son, who is living in a college town and my daughter, who is living with me.
I have been raising my daughter alone since she turned 6. Actually much longer than that, since we were in Japan from the time she was 9 months old until she was almost 7 years old. My ex was in the Navy and we had gotten orders for Japan. The thing is, while in Japan, the Navy’s deployment schedule was much different than it would be anywhere else. The Navy there was considered “Forward Deployed”, which means basically that the Navy men and women were gone much more often and for longer periods of time than normal. At least back then it was like that. Now, because of where our military men and women are; and considering how long their deployments can be, I guess it would be comparable. For the entire time we lived in Japan, my then husband (ex husband now), would be gone anywhere for about 7 – 8 months out of each year that we were there. They would do their deployment and then once back, end up doing a lot of mini deployments. It’s hard to stay strong and solid in a relationship no matter how hard you try. People just grow apart and you become strangers to each other. Anyways, by the time my daughter and I got back to the states from Japan after about 5 ½ years, I did so as a separated parent.
Once back in the states, I realized I had a huge problem…I had no current job skills like I had before I had gone to Japan. Before I left for Japan I had pretty good administrative skills and had made pretty good money…at least for me. But when we got to Japan, the work situation was much different. There were no jobs available to me in the field that I worked. It was like that for many of the military wives there.
I am overweight and have been since I was pregnant with my daughter almost 18 years ago. I am 48 years old. I am single and except for 2 years about 2 ½ years ago, have been since leaving my ex. I know a huge reason for me still being single is my weight and how I perceive myself. Some people think that it’s easy to lose weight, but it’s not. I try not to ever complain about being alone, or overweight, because in the few instances that I have, I got remarks from one family member or another saying that if I don’t like being overweight, to just stop eating so much and exercise….I wish it were just that easy. It’s the mental aspect of this that I have the hardest thing with. I’m a grown woman…I know that I’m overweight, I know that I need to watch what I eat and what time I eat, and I know that I need to work out…I also know that I am completely miserable and so alone that I ache with it, if it wasn’t for my daughter, I would be lost (which is another issue…she is almost 18) she is my lifeline and I have devoted myself to her for her entire life. What the hell am I going to do when she leaves? Isn’t that pathetic?
I have been in only 1 relationship in all these years. It lasted 2 miserable years. It was abusive and an experience that I don’t ever want to repeat again…ever. He was bipolar and ADHD, but acknowledged neither. The worst part is that my daughter had to be a part of it all. I am a very strong minded and independent woman. I’ve had to be. I never, in a million years would have thought I would ever put myself in that position. Once I realized how he was, I was in a position that I couldn’t get us out of and it took two years to get away from him and the situation. It took quite a while for my daughter to get over the resentment I knew she had for me for putting us in the situation that I did. That hurt most of all, because we were so close before him. I found myself and my daughter moving in with him and his daughters several months after dating him. I thought it would be great for my daughter to have sisters close to her age. Shortly after I moved in, I was told he was going to lose his house because of his circumstances…he was a widower and was in an enormous amount of debt. He hadn’t paid on his mortgage for quite a few months. So…sucker that I was…gave him pretty much everything that I had so that we could “start fresh”. That’s how I put my daughter and myself in the position that I did and why it took two years to get out of the East Coast and back to Washington. I ended up losing everything.
What is my situation now? Due to the economy and like so many others, I had to give up the home I was living in with my daughter. My daughter and I live with my mom. I have no money to speak of and I feel so alone and useless and owe so much money that I can’t seem to breath.
In order to come home to Washington from the West Coast, I finally caved in and asked my mom and stepdad for help. I’ve always done things on my own and to ask for that help was difficult. But I did. Also, when I got back to Washington, my daughter and I moved in with them. Their house is average size, fine for 2 people, but was cramped when I and my daughter, Gabby, moved in. My daughter and I shared the same room and I started working at my stepdad’s small business to help pay them back. About a month after my daughter and I moved back to my parents, one of my other sister’s had to move in with us. She had come from Arizona and she was getting a divorce. She came with her kids, 6 year old twin girls and a 5 year old boy. About 2 months after my sister and her kids moved in, my daughter and I ended up moving out into a small place. We had to.
Since then, we’ve had to move out of the small place that we were at, because the owner of the place wouldn’t give me a lease, saying that his daughter would be moving in where my daughter and I were living at some point, he couldn’t give me a time frame, he just said whenever. Plus, he kept raising the rent; and would also come over when he thought nobody was home and peak into our windows around the whole place. Several times, my daughter was home and she would be so freaked out over it, she would hide. After a year of that, we moved into a better place, which was great, but with the recession the way it has been, my stepdads small business has lost so many customers that it’s lost a lot of money, therefore making it impossible for me to be paid enough to pay for my place and other bills. Especially now, because my daughter has been in and out of hospitals and doctors’ offices, playing the human pin cushion in order to try to figure out what’s wrong with her. She has Hepatitis A, at both a type of “chronic and acute”, that she got, believe it or not from Mono. I guess that can happen in certain instances as it happened with her. Chronic means she will have it for the rest of her life and Acute means she will have some type of symptoms from the Hepatitis on and off for the rest of her life. It isn’t so bad now though. Every once in a while, she will run a low grade fever and her pee will become a darker brown…but it’s so much better than the original symptoms that we are grateful that it’s so tolerable. The biggest thing though is she gets tired really easy…all the time and requires more sleep than normal. She is 17 and in great shape; which is a good thing. Before that happened to her though, I had been taking her in to the doctors to try to figure out something else that was going on with her. It’s a separate issue from the Hepatitis, and her oncologist that I was taking her too, after exhausting the list of some other doctors; believe that she may have some sort of Intestinal disease going on. I’ve tried doing what he recommended trying to find results, because he doesn’t want to do any sort of evasive testing until we have tried other things. But as of to date, we haven’t been very successful. Also, since my ex has been out of work from his Union job for quite a while now; this cost him to lose his insurance. It now makes it impossible for me to do anything right now. I was quite “gung ho” for the first year of her going through all of this, but between her just needing a break from the testing and me having to try to cover the 20% of what the insurance doesn’t pay…I had to stop. The scary thing about this situation is her doctor, the Oncologist told me that with situations like my daughters, the few intestine diseases that could be a posibility, are so hard to diagnose, that sometimes, by the time they finally do get diagnosed, it’s almost always too late to do anything about it. So, right now I am at a loss as how to proceed from this point. I am so overwhelmed with bills; I just can’t pay them all. I have paid what I can, but it isn’t enough. So…I am getting harassed by creditors trying to collect for the various and many medical bills, as well as other bills, since I have to try to keep up with some of the medical bills, in order for me to be able to keep taking her to some of these facilities.
So, like I said above, my daughter and I have moved back in with my mom. My sister had moved out with her kids about a year after they had moved in, so they are gone, which helps.
I owe a lot of money. A lot and I need to do something about it soon. It’s for various reasons, and to go into it, this letter would be much, much, longer. Some of what I owe has been haunting me for years. I hide from phone calls, my natural state these past couple of years has been in a constant state of stress and to some point fear. I don’t feel human anymore, if it wasn’t for my daughter I don’t know how I would hold on. All I want is to be able to feel human again and to be able to breath…just breath. I want to pay everyone off and I want to take a course on Web designing as well as be able to do animated graphics. I have an idea for a business that will not only help me and my daughter out, but for many other small businesses and people who want to start a business at home. I need to be able to do something to support myself and my daughter and I need to be able to stop being a huge drain on my mom.
if I can get financial help, I can get everyone paid off and put some money to these courses as well, what I want to do is help small business owners and people who want to start a business from home by donating my time in some cases and lowering the price enough so people like us can actually afford a website to help them, without getting “nickel and dimed” so much with getting a proper website up that they go broke just trying to get a good quality website up and running for them. It would be my way of helping others out.
There is so much more to my story than I can tell you in this letter, if I did, you would know more of my desperation. I need help…desperately and I don’t have anywhere else to turn to, to get it. I know there are so many more people in the same position or worse. But my daughter, son and myself are what I have to focus on and what is the most important thing for me and it has taken me along time to allow me to get to this point and work up enough nerve to write this letter, but it comes down to this…I need help. I have helped so many people in the past; in many ways…I have given my time when needed, money when I had it and always my willingness to do so. hi there my name is donna i am 50 yrs old and live in texas. my mom whom i live with drive our schools for over 30 yrs. a few months ago her dr. put in a dibulator. she was off two weeks mind you she is 70 yrs of age and only wieghts 75 pounds. well she went back to what she loved driving as she would say her kids.
we found out a day and a half later our school dist. will not allow drives with a defibulator drive any more. so now i am at home taking care of her not only because she’s my mom but i love her dearly. she is afraid to drive her on car needs breathing treatments for her COPD, most mornings she does’nt even get out of bed until after noon. her medical bills started streaming in and i am starting to worry about her health and our money worries. she had very little retirement. needless to say we are your adverage run of the mill low income families who work there buns of and can’t save a dime. maybe just maybe someone somewhere can help us change that with an open loving but worried heart i say goodbye and thank you for reading and listining to a stanger.

I writing to share with you a unique and exciting opportunity the Lord has given me! I am planning on being a part of a Short-Term Missions Team sponsored by the Mitchell Berean Church that will be traveling to Jinja Uganda. This trip will take place in July 2010.
The reason I desire to be part of this team is to share the Word of God with those who have not gotten to know Him like I have, and let them seem what He can do for them. I want to share how much better my life has been since I let Him into my life, even through all the hard times in my life, He has been there and always will.
Some of the ways we will be serving the Lord in Uganda will be sharing the word, leading people to God, sharing stories of what God has done for us and helping anyway we can. We want to see many people in Uganda be saved, and we plan to let people know that He is there for them.
The total cost of this trip is $3000.00 per person. Should God so lead, I would be truly thankful for anything you could do to help me reach this goal of going on this Mission trip by May 2, 2010. Just a little about myself before I close. I am a 16 years old and in the 10th grade at Mitchell High School. I am 6th out of 7 children. I try to help my mom as much as I can as my dad has been a Angel in Heaven now over 7 years, I know he is looking done on me and is proud to see I am now a believer of the Lord. I help my 95 year old grandfather when ever he needs some yard work done, or work done on his house, or just wants me to come over to sit and watch old wrestling tapes. I have many cousins, to whom, I babysit whenever I am asked. I have a little nephew who I love hanging out and playing with, and soon I will be a Uncle yet again to a little girl. As you can tell I love my family and they are my world. My family and I travel every summer, such as a family tradition.
I enjoy family game night and hanging with my friends playing video games. I am a proud member of Mitchell Berean Church, their Youth Group and in deep study of the Bible called Scuba. I am a former Mitchell Boy Scout, but I still volunteer if they need help. I play all sports such as wrestling, golf, football, baseball, basket-ball, track, and soccer.
I am the youngest member ever to be allowed to join Project Extra Mile, which is a group that is against underage drinking or selling alcohol minors. I am 100% stand behind this group and all that they express. I have been helping change laws to make it tougher on adults who sell alcohol to minors.

I have in a hardship. I have always helped others in my life and don’t ask for nothing in return. But now I have come to a hardship. 6 years ago my husband became disabled and couldn’t work anymore. I believe this article gives you the resources people are seeking, but not personally giving away money. Am I wrong? I am the single parent of four beautiful boys. There dads don’t want to be of assistance. I beg and plead and nothing ever helps. I want to do better for my children and I, and have attempted to start college. We live in a not so safe neighborhood and so desperately need to get out of it. My 10 year old son was beat up twice within the last 3 months, both incidents sending him to the er. Both attacks were unprovoked. I absolutely need help from someone. i came online today feeling sorry for myself over the state of my teeth, i was searching for any way i might be able to get help with paying for them to be fixed, but now after reading some of these coments i must say i feel a little ashamed of myself! there is always someone whose need is far greater than yours! i often complain of how i hate being “poor” that i cant afford to take kids out to beach or even own a car, but there are people out there who cant even afford to feed their babies, that must be so heartbreaking!

We have been in the retail business for several years and just when we were getting ready to hire people, the housing market collasped and that ended our expansion! We have tried to get loans,grants,or venture capital but for one reason or another we were not able to. as everyone else, my financial situation is grim. I live with my 2 daughters working hard 12 hour shifts, and yet continue to fall backwards instead of moving ahead. I agree with those who posted before who dont really believe that anything will come of this, but I figure it doesn’t hurt to throw my desperation into the cosmic atmosphere. I get $1000 bi-weekly when I get overtime, my rent is $986.00 monthly so with the second paycheck I have to pay everything else. I am drowning, I wake up everymorning afraid of what will get turned off, repossessed, canceled. I have had to tell my children, there just isnt money to get groceries this week, over and over. I am always angry with myself for not providing for them like I should. I keep praying for a break, a second job to help make ends meet, to win $2000 so I could catch up and buy clothes for them. I am writing this not for me but for a Charity called the PBC Foundation. The charity was set up in 1996 in someone kitchen and because the need got greater had to move to small premises. PBC is an Autoinmmune Desease which attacks the bile ducts in the Liver as of yet there is no known cure and some sufferers end up having a liver transplnt of which i am one of them. The PBC Foundation has given me so much and i am now trying to give back by being a regional volunteer for the Hampshire area. Every day more people are being diagnosed with this Chronic Desease. Our Charity need funds to keep going and because of the climate we are finding it hard. We solely exist on donation and sponsors none of our members have t pay to join and 4 time a year we produce a magazine with facts and information.

I will turn 59 in a couple of weeks and my husband has just retired. We have a dream of moving to South Carolina to be near my grandchildren. I briefly read some of these letters that many other people have sent you. My story is similar. The only difference is I would end my life tomorrow if it would help
my young adult children and my family. I can not go on. Money is no more even though i work and have tried this year to get a second job, But to no avail. My son does help but it is not enough and my daughter is not working. My house needs fixing. My air conditioning is going and there is mold the house. My son needs his medication and i can’t afford it. My Daughter is trying to get a job but no one had hired her. Her teeth need fixing and i can’t afford 4,000 . Both cars need to be fixed. I have had family help, but it is not enough and i would like to pay them back before i go. I don’ t care about myself just my children and family. If need be i would ask to help with everything and then sell my house

everyone has problems yet no one seems humbled in life, hard work, and giving more then receiving not just in money but giving other people you know or dont know your time, will do for you better then money alone. have any of you even thought about how or what you would do to pay it forward if anyone of these millionaires choose to give you some of their money. that is probly the last thing on your mind because the first thing is you all asking for money. hell i wish someone would give me money to so i could start a business but i also would rether do it on my own so i could say i did it something to remember is “what tou do in life echoes in eternity”
I am in a very bad situation, my husband is angry because I finally called the police on him for Domestic Violence, he stopped paying all bills, phone was shut off I order another company’s service but after 30-45 days they will turn off as well, Mortgage is behind 3mos and land bill is behind 2 mos, AM DISABLED AND scared to death what may happen to me. I have no income as yet waiting for SDI,SSI. I am in deep trouble with a teenager here with me. |

I, too, have been poor all of my life and have had extremely hard times but I do not want another person’s money in this manner and will never look to others to give me a handout. I agree that there is absolutely nothing wrong with dreaming and hoping for a better tomorrow because that is sometimes the only hope for many of us. Although in today’s world it is harder than ever for most of us, there is no reason that any of us should believe that we can “never get there…where those that have are”. I have found that to be content and work with what I have, even if my situation is going downhill, is far better than going down the path where many of us do in “wishing” and later dealing with broken wishes because I know, like everyone in the world knows, (the) situation will change at some point. Like most entrepreneurs and business owners have had to go through and know, it takes hard work, time, patience and persistence especially in business. The same goes for gathering capital. Saving money takes time and over time that savings will take you where you want to go…with hard work, time and so forth. To spend what you have and then take credit cards, school loans for which you may not be able to get a job with which is what is happening to millions these days and so forth, racking up undesirable amounts of debt no matter how big or small they are, keeps you trapped and not free to do the things you would like to do until those debts have been paid off and time spent as a (financial) slave to another means it will take longer to get where you want to be. I would much rather make a plan and pay off my bills no matter how long it took me and then make a plan to save up the amount of money I need to start and run a small business so I would not have a debt that will cause me to lose sleep at night or bring the pressure (that such would) during my every waking moment. I have known many people whom, after starting a business, for years have little to no free time because they had to work all day long in some way either running the business, hiring people, placing stock orders, balancing their books, making calls, working on the computer, holding or attending meetings, consulting and/or other things. Most people see the money that will come in and that their worries will be over but sometimes they are not aware of and nor see the real cost of owning and operating a business to their personal life. Again, I would rather pay off most if not all bills and save money and while I am doing that I would research the market for upcoming trends or look for businesses that have not gone under or bankrupt and find out not only what the financial rewards will be but also what ‘my personal life cost’ will be. If you owe a bill then the best thing you can do is to sit down and take out your papers, find out how much your interest rate is each month and then either pay the interest or make an additional ‘principal payment’ of just a few dollars or more on your balance, providing the contract allows for this which most companies in the United States have no problem with. Many times companies will accept full payment without any fines or penalties when the bill is paid in full earlier than what is drawn up in their contract with you. I know how hard it is to give the extra $20 in my pocket to those whom I owe but when I do I always feel better and I am that much closer to being free from debtors. I am not criticizing anyone but all too often we are dreaming and when we see an offer of money such as with credit cards, make no payment now, and other offers our minds begin to think of that ‘financial relief’ and the freedom that comes with it but after we have spent that money then it is hard for us to give it back at the price we initially bargained for which is always more than we are given. When we see that there is all that interest and those whom gave to us are going to reap an even greater financial reward than what they gave we are therefore disheartened and wish we could go back and it is at this point where we are now their ‘financial slave’. No matter how we try to ignore our debt it always comes right back to us no differently than a boomerang. If you are like some of us out here, no matter how hard we try something always happens and keeps us from even being able to save our money whether it be due to an illness, unexpected car problem, the washer broke down, a child was born, someone needed a little money just to get by, the fridge stopped working and we lost all of our food, etc., we still keep on keepin’ on and know that things will change but hopefully we will still have our health, a full belly and a home to live in. If I were rich or even moderately wealthy I would strive to feed and house as many as I could right now and I would do that by buying several hundred acres of land, planting it and then donating 90% of it to my own food bank(s). Corn, carrots, peas, onions, potatoes, wheat, other vegetables and edibles and eggs. Lots of ‘em. Cows which feed on the land and some of the corn I grow would give me milk for butter but all without forcing them to be pregnant just so they would produce that milk. Jobs would be created under these circumstances and that in itself is a vital and good thing. Currently, our government has been wanting to shut down community gardens and I wonder, now that we are dealing more closely with the United Nations and how some countries take from their citizens, will they do to us as they do in Poland and take nearly every vegetable in our gardens and much of our earned wages…I hope not.

I am a 76 woman , widow and deaf. No job..I was envolve in a scam by 2 people who claim I inhertied huge amount of money and was charged a lot of money for documents and certificate that they claim they work for Bank of America,I was shocked to find out last week that they are scammer that I did not realize it till my son found it was not true and I lost all my saving and only have my SS which I get once a month and I had borrowing a lot of money that I owe and I am so depressing , trying t figure out a way to pay my debts of 140,000 and my SS is only 1135.00 a month that cover all my insurance for hospital, car and medicine and other small bills , gas and grocery. I need teh money to pay the debts I owe people, individnual , it is hard for me to get a job at my age and being deaf.. I am havig a hard time dealing with this and cant get a loan due to no income.. I am pleading and asked that someone can provide the money to help me out to pay off this debts and I have learned from the FBI on how to avoid scam and what to look for to make me aware of them,, I have been so sick and depresswed for couple of days and I realize and regret that I got myself into this scam.. I have dedicated most of life to those in need, 30 years or so. Opened my home to the hungry, homeless and relatives who have befallen hard times. As a devout Christian I moved from supporting my community in the provision of housing for the homeless, health & education services for the sick and un-schooled. My recent blessing has been the opportunity to help the village peoples of a 3rd world country into desparately needed housing. The Government of this particular country has confirmed State Guaranteed funding of the housing project but our dilemma as a humanitarian project team is that in order for our group to access this we are to fulfill 3 final tasks which will cost our group USD $300,000. We are adamant to repay this on receipt of our first project draw down which will occur 10 days after we complete the delivery of our final tasks. I am suffering from back problems and can’t afford insurance to see the doctor so I can go on disabilty. I suffer from a herniated disk, sciatica, scholiosis and ostiporosis. I do work part time but it’s getting difficult to stand for long periods of time and the pain is great. I need money to get insurance to go see doctors so I can get on diabilty. I have read many of the comments and most are asking for help. Don’t get me wrong I have been out of work for awhile and need some bills paid myself but I have taken another approach. Instead of looking for help, I have decided to give aways things in my house that I don’t use or have been hanging on to becasue I think I might use it one day. If we get rid of things others can use (bless someone else), we will see doors openings for us. Try it, you will feel better and good things will start happening to you and not around you.
I do not wish to give my name out as I am ashamed of asking but I have no choice. I have been unemployed for a year now and have one child and she is 5 years old. I live with my mother as I am not able to afford my own place. I have recently developed pain in my knee which means getting around can become an issue not all the time but some days its very bad and my GP cant even do much about it. I couldnt afford my car I had sold that a year ago but I am wanting to buy another car I will buy a cheap one I only need £1000 for the insurance thats all. I wish I could find some one to help use ( no strings attached). I am a single gramma on dissability and raising 3 grandchildren on dissability, we have very little money to get by on , although we do try. At most times I have no skin on my feet or hands , makes it a litle difficult to do much but, I try. I try to give my grandchilden all the simple things but mot times I can’t do that.
The worse time for us is Christmas because they don’t get much and thier friends tess them .I have two girls ages..15,11 and one boy age 10.If there is anyone out there that can help us financial needs we would really be grateful.

Hello, My name is Elsa and I am from Laredo,Texas. I am really looking for someone with a warm and loving heart to help me financially. It has been some years that I have been struggling, ever since I had a brother very sick 150 miles from Laredo. We had to travel every week stay in hotels because we do not have anyone there. And believe me it drained us and my pocket too. But, what can I do it was my brother it took 3 years like that till he just could no longer hang on and passed away. Ever since than my life has been just getting into more loans to pay another and I just can’t take it anymore. My check is gone and left with no money for bills, food, loans,car payment etc. After 2 years of my brothers death my mother had a pulmonary ambolism which I had to be off from work, my husband he is a custodian and has had 3 knee surgeries and the last one a total knee replacement and he needs back surgery as 1 of his disks is broken. The doctor wants to place him on disability but, he knows if he stops working we will loose everything, so he just puts up with the pain as for me I need my second knee surgery and am afraid to have it, as my husband did not have very good results. I am afraid not to be able to walk as much as i do, I have to look after my mother after work. I have a lot of bills and loans from payday loans to personal loans which are killing me. I have tried getting a bank loan to pay everything but it is impossible. Have tried to get a debt consolidation and the payments are too high. I still have to pay the payday loans and my cars. Well I guess I have already told you almost all of my problems. I would really appreciate any kind hand to help me get out of these nightmare that my husband and I are passing through. Hi My name is Nestor, My wife’s Name is Angie, About 8 years ago, both me and Angie were working and doing fine. we were able to pay all our bills with no problem, then it struck, angie got sick and had to have surgery, and became unemployed, well she had her surgery that had to do with her intestines,and she had internal problems, such as her bladder fell during this procedure, and had to be lifted.
as the day went on it seemed like one problem after another during the surgery, and after what seemed to be an eternity. the doctors came out and told me it was over, and due to the complications she had, recovery would take longer then expected……so here we are 8 years later and she still can’t work and we don’t know when she can go back to work because now she is going to have another surgery on her stomach, this is going to happen September 20, 2010, the doctor tells me I have to take some family leave for about 3 weeks due to the after care she is going to need, this will include careing for her daily needs, Ie: daily meals, daily medications, Driving to and from doctor appointments. she is also going to need post surgery care and assist with daily acivities for rehab, walking, now this is going to take time from my job, and my job has no problem for me to take off and thank God for the Family Medical leave, this will protect me from losing my job.
However for the last 8 years angie and I have gotten into a Financial disaster, I now have had to fiance my house two times and now have two mortgages, on my house, not to mention the medication that we are both on…… I am on three myself. I am on dilatin, lisinopril for high blood pressure
Angie is on about seven medications, we have to choose witch one will have to do with out, sometimes we can’t afford to get them all. not to mention we are behind with the house payments by two months, and we are doing our best from losing our home, we have tried to borrow the money but the bank will not lend to us, because last year we had to file bankruptcy, and almost lost our home then.
What we are asking is if their is anyone out their with a big heart, that could lend us or give us the money to catch up on our finances, we are going to need about
ten thousand dollars, five thousand will go to catch up on the house payments, and the rest will be for medical expenses, and other items such as utilities, water, food and other house expenses. Please be aware I am still working thank God, but I make little money for all the expenses that has came into our lives since Angie has gotten Sick with her illness…………If you are out there Please consider. We have never had to ask for help in this manner. this is a very hard thing to do, If our request is met please keep in mind I will do what ever I have to do to try and pay you back this money. Hello I am a middle aged woman who has worked in manufacturing all my life. I do not own a home or a car , which right now is my biggest problem and I am living with in-laws depending on them for everything. Talk about self esteem I haven’t any. I try to find a job but have to look with-in the distance they want to drive,ok and they are going to want to do this every day. I feel like I am in a loose, loose situation. then the jobs i do put in for are minimum wage, I was making 15 dollars a hour twenty yrs ago whats wrong with this picture…now nobody wants me can anyone help I will do almost anything ….please help me.

I was haspitlize June 12,2010 fir alcohole related problems I was there for three days. That was when my life changed I got out and started a new life I have not touch it since. I have been able to get a new home and have the basics.for now I never thought I would live sober again. I have picked up my old Hobbiy of woodworking and .I only have one small problem.
