My mum had never been to Italy so I decided to surprise her with a holiday to Florence for Mothering Sunday this year. After researching several airlines I went with Alitalia due to the special offers they had going. I’ve flown with Alitalia in the past for business and was satisfied with the experience, so I felt confident that the flights through Alitalia would be perfect for our mother/daughter getaway.

I went through the calendar on the website and compared all of the costs for various dates until I was able to find flights that fell in my budget. Although I went slightly over what I hoped to pay, overall the cost for two return flights was quite reasonable and mum was thrilled. The flights just took a few moments to sort on the website and the process overall was quite simple.

We had no issues with the flights, all were on time, the flights were smooth and the service was great. Florence was absolutely fantastic and my mum couldn’t get over the beauty of the city. The food…shopping...everything was top notch. I will be flying with Alitalia again in the future.
