Brilliant idea - wish i'd thought of it myself, 28 Jun 2011Review by JohnFriends of mine had used anyvan when they moved out of their flat and raved about the service, so I thought I’d give it a go when we decided to buy a table from my sister and her fiancé. Neither of us had a vehicle large enough to move it, so I decided to post my job on the anyvan website after receiving several outrageous quotes from courier companies. The site was easy to follow and there was a cheeky little video describing how to use the site.
Creating an account took just a moment and it was easy to list a job. I posted the details of my job and the delivery dates, luckily I was flexible and had a few weekends possible where the table could be moved. I received emails each time a courier placed a bid on my job and was able to view customer feedback and information about each one, so I felt comfortable eventually choosing the provider I did. He charged only 54 pounds to move the table whilst I received quotes upward of 200 pounds from others when I called round. Anyvan really helped me save some quid and I can’t recommend the site enough.
