With my son entering uni this August I went to the Apple Store website in order to purchase him a new computer. I was pleased to see a graphic on the homepage featuring the special education pricing for students offer. And, if you buy a Mac for university they give you a £75 gift card for the app store or itunes store, which I thought was a nice added bonus since my son already has an iPhone and constantly spends money on apps.

It was a simple process to order the computer; I simply had to select his university from a drop down list and then it took me to a special page for the school which had all of the Apple merchandise featured. Knowing already he wanted the Macbook pro, I went ahead and added the item to my basket and selected the free gift card so I didn’t spend much time browsing on the website. From start to finish it took me possibly five minute’s time and the order was sorted. Very very pleased with the ease and pricing on the Apple Ireland website and my son is looking forward to using his new computer.

I’m a big Apple fan anyway, so it’s no surprise that I like this website. It’s great for getting all the latest news about Apple products – everything from the Ipad to Ipod. As a music freak, I fell in love with my Ipod years ago and have been updating it with the latest and greatest version every year since. It looks like an amazing tool, so I’m saving up to see about getting one. The graphics are super, and the site is really easy to get around.
