So many wine coolers that it was hard to know which one to buy, 28 Jun 2011Review by Tiffany BlacksmithHeaded to the Appliance City website in search of a freestanding wine cooler for my home and found the process to be a bit frustrating. Normally I would praise a website for having such a great selection but honestly there were so many different options (7 whole pages) of wine coolers that it took ages to sort through all of them, read the descriptions and compare each one. I feel it would be better to carry a smaller selection of quality options than so many different ones that the customer hasn't a clue as to which is best. I also didn't understand why not every model had a price next to it, it said to call them for their best price. If I wanted to call, I would have done so instead of shop online. The delivery costs were also much higher than other websites I've shopped with in the past.
Despite the complaints, all in all the experience wound up being positive in the end, and after choosing a wine cooler it arrived in about four days. I'm happy with my purchase but I do think their website could benefit from some changes.
