With my mum’s birthday on Friday I was in a bind as I totally forgot about her day and hadn’t bought a present yet. The checkout process was fairly simple although I thought it was odd you had to actually pay to choose a specific time range or delivery (if they deliver between 8 and 6 there was no additional cost). Whilst checking out there was a notes area to instruct if you wanted them left with a neighbor, which I suppose would come in handy if you were delivering to someone who worked during the day.
