Argos Customer Reviews

Argos is my favorite one stop shop

I love it when I have many options to choose from. Argos makes it so easy that I can hardly resist shopping from their online catalogue. They have a great range of products and it’s all relevant to everyday life – no matter what your age.
I mostly get my beauty and health products from Argos because they stock quality goods. I know the range so well that I hardly have to look at the catalogue anymore. Sometimes this is a bit of a problem because I would like it if they added some new stuff for us to try out.
Argos makes it even easier. If you first want to see what you’re getting, you can reserve the item online and then go to the shop to collect it. If you don’t like it you return it – no questions asked. I’ve bought many things like this and it works for me. If I can’t go to the shop, they deliver it to my house and if I don’t like it I simply return it. It’s that simple.
I’ve got a credit account with Argos due to the fact that I’m a frequent shopper. Their terms are very reasonable and they often have specials where you don’t have to pay for several months. That helps the budget quite a lot. I look for these specials so that I can save a bit of money on my shopping.
Argos is a good place to shop and its online catalogue has now made it an even bigger pleasure to shop.

Found great camping gear at Argos online

There’s really not much difference between going into an Argos catalog store and using the internet. Either way, you’re using a catalog, photos, etc., but I must admit I don’t really like the colours on the website. The headings are really hard to read. Still, they offer great deals and using the internet beats finding a parking place and hitting the High Street. I needed some camping supplies – an airbed and a few other bits and bobs. Like Amazon, the products are reviewed by customers, so I was able to get a sense of which airbeds were better than others. Now, I must admit, I’m not the keenest camper at the best of times, so when my husband suggested a camping trip, I cringed. The worst part, as far as I’m concerned, is mealtime – eating off of flimsy plates and fighting off the bugs whilst crunched into sagging camp chairs with no table. Yuck! Luckily, I think I’ve found a solution. On Argos’ site, I came across a really cool-looking camping table and stools that fold up and travel easily, so I’ve ordered them and a new airbed (may as well make it a bit more civilised of a weekend, I say), and now I’m looking forward to our weekend away. Delivery is free on some items, but my delivery cost was £5.95, which is a bit steep compared to other sites.

Argos makes all of my shopping easier

There’s hardly anything you can’t find on the Argos website besides clothes I suppose. It’s truly one-stop shopping in my mind and I shop with Argos rather frequently. One of the things about the website I like best is the very clean bright feel to it and I don’t think it’s overwhelmingly cluttered like some other shopping sites out there. I also appreciate how they list right under the item how long the delivery will take and whether or not the item is available to pick up in store instead, as well as a link to reviews.

With my twin granddaughter’s birthday approaching I visited the Argos site to search for a gift and was pleased as usual with the shopping experience. The girls are rather keen on Barbies lately and Argos made it easy since they have a whole Barbie section under toys. After browsing through the many options I selected a triple doll pack for only 9.99 (and normally you’d spend that or more on one doll) and also a Barbie puzzle and an art case. Everything arrived within four days and the girls loved their gifts. Thanks to Argo for another pleasant shopping trip on their website.

Great deal on a fridge freezer

Our ancient fridge freezer has seen better days, and after I noticed our food was spoilt faster than it should be, I went about researching a new model. I found the one we wanted on Argos and was able to use a 10% off code on top of it, which does help when buying a high ticket item like this. I love that I can just order it straight from their site and in a few minute's time my order is sorted and the fridge freezer will come straight to my house. So easy!

Shopping Tips for Argos

Offers and Deals for You

Free Delivery

Free home delivery is available on all small items purchased on the Argos website and delivered by Royal Mail. Argos decides what is classed as a ‘small item’ and the free delivery option is usually specified on the item’s page on the website, so if you don’t see ‘free delivery’ or ‘small item’ specified, then you’ll have to pay to have it sent out.

Check and Reserve

If you want to receive your item quickly and don’t mind collecting it in-store, take advantage of Argos’ check and reserve option. This delivery method allows you to choose your item online and reserve it in your chosen store, where you can collect it immediately or up until the next working day.

Co-buys are a brand new way for shoppers to work together to get the best deal possible. The more people to join an open co-buy, one of three things happens: the price drops for everyone, the value of the product increases or something special is unlocked. As if that wasn’t good enough, the person who brings in the most co-buyers can even get their product for free.

The co-buys are advertised on the Argos Facebook page and each one only lasts for a few hours, so make sure you check back regularly if you don’t want to miss out.

Extra Money Saving Tips

Trade-in your Unwanted Gold Jewellery

Argos now gives you the chance to cash in on unwanted or broken gold hallmarked jewellery. To turn your gold into cash or any of the 20,000 Argos products, all you have to do is collect the jewellery you don’t want (make sure you remove any gems), pack the jewellery into a gold trade-in pack which you can pick up from an Argos store and send it to the address on the pack from any Post Office.

Within five working days, Argos will contact you with a price. If you’re happy with the price, you can receive your money by cheque, bank transfer or Argos gift card – you usually get more money if you choose an Argos gift card. If you’re not happy with the price, Argos will send your jewellery back to you for free.
