Aspinal of London Promotional Codes and Discount Codes 2012

I've always wanted one of the leather diaries from Aspinal of London, and this year I dropped some obvious hints to my husband about it, so let's hope he follows through. In the meantime, I ordered a pair of the enamel fox cufflinks for him for Christmas. He grew up in the country, so I'm sure he'll be well chuffed about the gift. They had so many gorgeous things on the site I had to force myself to check out and stop browsing, unfortunately! The Brit clutch, even though it's on sale, was too pricey for me to justify, but I made sure to write it down in case the husband needs gift ideas - hint hint!

This was my first time shopping on the Aspinal of London website and was very impressed with the experience from the first moment on the page. The overall look is very posh and with the beautiful scrolling photography on the homepage you get an instant feeling of luxury. I immediately spotted the photo of the Elizabeth Hurley bag and knew I had to own it. The connection to breast cancer research made me feel a bit better about the fact I was spending nearly 300 pounds on a bag (they donate £100 from each bag to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation). So really, I only spent 200 in my mind and gave a nice donation at the same time.

The difficult bit about the shopping experience was actually choosing a colour. I opted for the black patent leather model but there were two other options, both quite nice. I quickly checked out since I couldn’t afford to spend any more, and believe me I would have, because I was eyeing some lovely silk scarves and accessories as well.

My package arrived via DHL two days later. The bag is truly gorgeous, such a high quality of leather and Elizabeth Hurley has even signed the inside of the bag, which has a serial number making it feel quite exclusive. I’m more than satisfied with my experience shopping Aspinal – my only wish is that the prices could be a bit more affordable, then again you are paying for a luxury brand and I don’t mind paying more for quality.

I got my first Aspinal journal a few years back for my 30th birthday, and I fell in love with the soft, leather-bound book immediately. My husband gave it to me to mark the occasion and he also got me a few refills. Since then, however, I’ve needed more refills, and I’ve gone on to order other Aspinal products. In fact, I have one handbag, which was really pricey, but I couldn’t resist. I didn’t tell my husband exactly how much it was, and I’m hoping he won’t mind too much. It’s gorgeous. For other items, I tend to check online for the sales, and I’ve found some great deals. I simply go to the Ladies Collection and then click on “Online Sale”. It’s a great place for finding gifts too. I’ve ordered journals for my daughters in fun colours (for a third off), small purses for myself and change holders. But my favourite piece, apart from my handbag of course, is the leather journal, which I still write in every day.
