Moving from London to Eton, we decided to switch home and contents insurance companies with our new property. I looked into AXA Home Insurance after receiving high quotes from two other companies. I thought their website was nicely arranged and I was able to read through all of the details on the policy to quickly see that they had everything I was hoping to get in a policy such as garden cover included, property owners liability cover and brand new replacements offered for our belongings in case of fire, theft, etc.

After reading through all of the literature online I decided to go for the free online quote. It took maybe three minutes at most and I had an instant quote on the screen. After comparing the number to the two other companies, AXA was lower, but not by a massive amount. However when really looking at the details of the policy I felt we were getting more from AXA and that helped seal the decision to purchase my policy through them. Very simple process and I am able to view my account online including making claims. Hopefully I won’t have to do that any time soon, but it’s nice to know just in case.
