Best Western Hotels Great Britain Promotional Code 2012

My wife and I decided to take a short break to Dorset and since money is tight, opted for a Best Western in Dorchester. I didn't realise they actually had some more upmarket type of hotels, since I always think of them as fairly low budget. Appreciated the quick booking, as I don't have the patience to go through a massively long checkout process. Our hotel was situated close to the shops and pubs, very good coaching inn style/historic looking building, and the beds were comfortable. We found the hotel to be nicely decorated and the staff were lovely to us and very accommodating. Saturday night there was a wedding, so it was a bit loud downstairs with music and guests milling about, but we don't go to bed early so it wasn't much of a bother. All in all I would go back and recommend to others.

If you're not into frills or amenities and are just looking for a really low price, then I think Best Western is a good option when it comes to budget hotels. Personally all I need is a clean room that is comfortable and quiet. I've had mixed reviews about their properties (some stays were fantastic, others just so-so) but I think it depends on the location really. When I needed to visit the States for business in Pittsburgh the hotel there was not up to my standards but other properties I've visited have been great, so I guess it's a gamble you take for the price.
