Hotel offersIf you’re staying in temporary accommodation either in the UK or France, it’s worth checking out hotel prices via the Eurotunnel website. It doesn’t matter whether or not you’re actually travelling on the Eurotunnel – everyone can benefit from discounts of up to 75% when booking through the Eurotunnel hotel page. There are more than 30,000 destinations and 200,000 hotels currently available and the ‘Best Price Guaranteed’ promise means you’ll never be out of pocket.
Early bird ratesEurotunnel usually opens up its summer tickets in winter and its winter tickets in summer, meaning if you’re well prepared and plan ahead, you can take advantage of exclusive early-bird rates which will only be available for a short time. To qualify for the cheap rates, you usually need to stay a specific number of days and book before a certain date, but if this fits in with your plans, you could make a huge saving.
Frequent Traveller AccountIf you regularly travel via the Eurotunnel, you could save loads by signing up for their Frequent Traveller Account. This type of account is available for people who travel at least four times every year and opens up exclusive low rates starting from as little as £43 per car per way – that’s a discount of 40%.
Frequent Traveller Accounts are available for individual and couple travellers and come with no luggage or fuel supplements, no registration fee, no annual membership costs and allow you to travel on peak dates and times. The only downside is that to qualify for the account, you need to purchase a minimum of ten tickets within the year the account is valid and pay supplements for travelling during peak times.
