Great selection of funny toys and gadgets!, 30 Dec 2011Review by JanetHFirebox has become my go to for weird and wonderful gifts. I've become a bit of a legend in my family because I buy something weirder and weirder for my brother each year. There's so much choice on the website for the big kid and a lot of cool pop culture type items that can be great in-jokes for all friends and family. I like the selection of items from low prices to higher, so there's something for every price bracket. What makes it better is that there are practical gifts too - I bought my brother in law a Star Wars messenger bag which he absolutely loves and can use everyday, so it's not just novelty! There's a low threshold (I think it's £20) for free delivery so I barely ever have P&P costs on top of my purchase. Delivery is swift and I've never had a problem with late deliveries or missing orders. Firebox is the first place I think of when I'm struggling for a present idea.

For the man who already has everything, I found some more, 05 Jul 2011Review by Faith DuttMy husband has everything a man could ever need. The house is full of clothes and all of his hobby junk, so when it comes to gift giving I have to push the boat out a bit in order to surprise him. This site is brilliant because it offers all of the serious and frivolous boys’ toys he’s ever dreamed of. He was a huge Pac Man fan back in the 80s, so I’ve gotten him the alarm clock, as well as some Star Wars stuff. He also gets a kick out of walking around with his Samurai umbrella (who wouldn’t right?). All of the gifts I’ve gone for have been of the reasonably priced variety, but you can go overboard or all out. Either way, you’ll enjoy the process, because it’s a fun site to peruse.

It's a van...no, it's a tent!!, 03 Jul 2011Review by Margie O\'RourkeFirebox has some really cool gadgets but this VW van tent took the cake. My husband used to drive one when we first met and for his birthday last month I knew this was the ultimate nostalgic gift. We took it on a camping weekend and not only did we get loads of interested looks, the tent was massive (in a good way) and comfortable slept four of us adults. Very happy with Firebox for carrying such unique items.
