This was my first time buying an experience gift voucher and it won't be the last. With Christmas approaching I've been dreading thinking of gift ideas, and I was put in charge of the office gift for our boss in addition to planning a 30th bday for my sister next month. Great Days Out took out the hassle and gave me loads of great ideas, and I couldn't believe some of the outrageous ones (going up in space for £25,000 or a £30,000 diving trip to see the Titanic!!). Unfortunately my purse is a little short for either of those, but I thought my sister would like a proper day of pampering so I bought a voucher for a massage, and a two-night break at Cabra Castle for my parents as their Christmas present from all the kids.

I haven't bought anything for the boss yet since I have to take a vote with the team, but I think we'll be getting him the Ferrari driving one. Now that I know about Great Days Out, I'll be using them for other parties and holidays for certain.

My mum has been complaining nonstop lately about aging, so I wanted to get her a special treat for her birthday. I looked long and hard through this site’s offerings to see if there was some sort of adventure she’d want to do, but I settled in the end for colour and style consultation.
