It’s the day every little girl dreams about: the day that you get married. I, unlike so many other women over 30, was less worried about getting to the “I do’s” and more worried about what I would have to pay to replace my wedding dress if anything had to happen to it. I called my insurance company immediately and, although the process was a bit time consuming, my ring was replaced and the wedding was back on. Like any insurance company I had to fill out some paperwork and I had to explain the incident in intricate detail but, in the end, they fulfilled their promise. All I can say is that, without insurance, my wedding day would not have been as care-free and enjoyable as it was.
