Choose your city on the Groupon CityDeal website, then check out the day's deals. They only last 24 hours, so act fast and click "buy now" when you find something fab!

Apply your code
Open promotionalcodes.org.uk in a new window and find the Groupon CityDeal code you'd like to use. Copy it and then back at your Groupon order, click "do you have gift code?" Paste your code and click "redeem" to apply it to your order.

Log in and pay
Enter your login info, or if you don't have an account, enter in your contact information. Next enter your credit/debit card details, then select whether you'd like to receive e-mail offers. First time using Groupon Citydeal
I've heard loads about Groupon but never bought one before or used the site. Finally I went and signed up today and actually wound up purchasing my first deal, for a salsa dancing class. Always wanted to try it, so now I can, and for a song. It was dead simple to sign up for deals, then buy it with a few clicks. Can't wait for my lessons, thanks to Groupon Citydeal.
A bit hit or miss on the deals
Friends in the States clued me in on Groupon and so I signed up for their deals. Basically you get an email each day with the deal for your city, which may be anything from a restaurant to a spa service at a discounted price. You buy a voucher at the discounted price and it's good for x amount. I bought one for a massage and for a hotel stay a few months back, and both worked just fine and I enjoyed the experiences. Since then I've noticed the quality of deals has been a bit uneven, and not as many top retailers or popular brands. I found one to a local restaurant today, which was the first time in at least 4-5 months that I've bought anything from them. Hopefully the deals will improve again in time.
