So you need a greeting card
You can't face another card shop, and you want to find just the right card. Well, Hallmark is sure to have exactly what you're looking for. Get online and find the perfect card for any occasion. You can even personalise cards with sentiments, names and photos. What are you waiting for?

Select from hundreds of wonderful cards
Search by occasion or recipient. Find large cards, small ones, electronic ones -- whatever you fancy. Most of the cards on here are editable in some way, so be sure to have your recipients' names and or photographs handy. Select the card(s) you want and click on "Personalise this card" or "Buy without Changing".

You need to provide a little information
Once you have selected a card to purchase, the site will ask you to either login if you're an existing customer. If you're a new customer, you'll be asked for contact details and a password, which is easy to set up. Simply type in the information.

Where shall we send these cards?
Here you need to choose whether you want the card sent to you or sent directly to your recipient. You can add recipients' addresses easily on the left-hand side of the page. Then you need to choose a delivery date on the right-hand side of the page and click on "Continue to Basket". From there you can either "Continue shopping" for more cards or "Checkout".

This screen asks for a variety of things. You will be asked to choose between payment methods, but this is also where you need to input any promotional codes. At this point, open a new window and visit http://www.promotionalcodes.org.uk/hallmark/ to find a promotional code for saving at Hallmark. Copy the code and return to the first window. Paste the code into where it asks for you to "Add a voucher code".

Provide your payment details
You need to choose between paying by PayPal or credit card and fill in the appropriate details either way. Then click on either Pay with PayPal or Pay with Card to complete your order.

Save a copy for your records
Be sure to save and/or print a copy of your confirmation page so that you have proof of purchase in your records. Now just sit back and wait for your lovely Hallmark creations to dazzle the lives or friends and loved ones.

Adding a personalised touch makes all the difference, 08 Aug 2011Review by Liz BI’ve been a fan of Hallmark cards for yonks, and I’m happy to see they’ve caught up with others in the online gig so that I can send personalized cards and photo cards via Hallmark through my computer at home. I recently did a card for a friend’s 50th, and I picked a newspaper front-story style page, and it looked brilliant when it arrived. My friend saved it as a keepsake, so I know she loved it. Sometimes it seems silly to spend that little bit extra on a card, but I’d spend money on a paper card from a shop anyway – and this way I can add a personal touch that will be remembered.

You can put your friend’s faces onto wanted posters, moon landing headlines, scandalous front pages, and much more. I went for a simpler style with personalised names added to the cards, which I think is still a really nice touch. I’ve always liked Hallmark cards, and the website makes it so easy to find just the right sentiment.

LarsenI'd never buy a greeting card online (really, what is the point when they only cost a pound or two) but I heard Hallmark offered personalised cards and decided to check out the options for my mum's upcoming bday. Instantly I knew which one was going to work because it looked like a tabloid, and believe me my mum loves her gossip. It said BRITAIN'S BEST MUM and then I could add her photo and details about her to make up the "headlines" and story. Fantastic!!! Plus it was only 3 quid and I thought it would be a lot more for something personalised. My mum could not stop talking about the card so I'd say it was a success! I'll be buying more personalised cards from Hallmark next time I have an event.
