Hallmark Customer Reviews
I'd never buy a greeting card online (really, what is the point when they only cost a pound or two) but I heard Hallmark offered personalised cards and decided to check out the options for my mum's upcoming bday. Instantly I knew which one was going to work because it looked like a tabloid, and believe me my mum loves her gossip. It said BRITAIN'S BEST MUM and then I could add her photo and details about her to make up the "headlines" and story. Fantastic!!! Plus it was only 3 quid and I thought it would be a lot more for something personalised. My mum could not stop talking about the card so I'd say it was a success! I'll be buying more personalised cards from Hallmark next time I have an event.
This isn’t your parent’s Hallmark shop. I was stunned to see so many options for personalizing greeting cards. You can put your friend’s faces onto wanted posters, moon landing headlines, scandalous front pages, and much more. I went for a simpler style with personalised names added to the cards, which I think is still a really nice touch. I’ve always liked Hallmark cards, and the website makes it so easy to find just the right sentiment.
I’ve been a fan of Hallmark cards for yonks, and I’m happy to see they’ve caught up with others in the online gig so that I can send personalized cards and photo cards via Hallmark through my computer at home. I recently did a card for a friend’s 50th, and I picked a newspaper front-story style page, and it looked brilliant when it arrived. My friend saved it as a keepsake, so I know she loved it. Sometimes it seems silly to spend that little bit extra on a card, but I’d spend money on a paper card from a shop anyway – and this way I can add a personal touch that will be remembered.
Heading to the post office is such a chore, so I love being able to sort all my cards for holidays straight from the Hallmark site. All you do is type in your message, the address, and pay - they send it straight to the recipient! Takes the work and hassle of queuing for stamps and such away, plus if you have to send a card abroad you can always just do it online - I've used their American site as well to send cards to friends there. So easy! Just sent some Easter cards to my mum and aunt, and the prices were fantastic. Easy site to use and loads of designs, I can't say enough!
I've always told my children that a card matters much more than a present on a birthday or special occasion. I always look that little bit harder when it comes to birthday, congratulations or good luck cards because I think a personal touch can really make a lot of impact. Last year, one of my very good friends was very ill. She was diagnosed with a serious condition and every time I went to visit I could see she was feeling worse and worse. My daughter sent me a card via Hallmark and it was personalised so it was addressed especially to me. I thought it was really lovely so it stayed in my mind and when I went looking for a card for my friend the idea popped up and I went looking to try it out. I was worried the process would be complicated or that I'd get it wrong, but it was really very easy to understand and get to grips with. I ordered a gorgeous card for my friend and wrote a very personal message to be included. The next time I went to see her, although she was still struggling, she told me how much the card had meant to her and how lovely the personal touch was. Since then I've ordered quite a few cards from Hallmark and always received glowing reports. It is a little expensive, but when it comes to friends in need, I don't like to scrimp on a few pounds. I think this is a really lovely service.
