My kids are going to be thrilled this year, 06 Dec 2011Review by LinelleI have been on a kick of buying traditional toys, so I'm glad that Hamleys had a whole section on their site with fantastic wooden toys and old favourites, although the selection was small (would be nice to add more). It was quick to find what I needed and within five or so minutes I had some great gifts picked out. I got them a Noah's Ark, a rolling pound a ball and a teaching clock. The prices were reasonable for a quality wooden toy and I know they'll last for years instead of the cheap plastic things we usually buy. Thank you Hamleys!

Hamleys steers me in the right direction, 05 Aug 2011Review by AmyI love the best seller lists offered here at Hamleys online. They always give the best ideas for gifts when it comes to my daughter and niece. During my latest visit, I came across a great nail painting set for girls and was super impressed by the description. For a lot of the products, you can see various angles as well as video about how it’s used. So I got her the nail painting kit, and since then she’s been online to look at Hamleys, and now she’s asking for a body glitter site. And so the shopping continues …

A fun online shopping experience, 13 Jul 2011Review by Mary ReynoldsHamleys is fantastic but if you can't get to a store, their website will do. They have such a lovely variety of toys and my grandkids get a kick out of browsing through the site with me. The bright colours and fun design really draws us in and makes the experience of shopping online a great one. I always let them pick out something special when they come to stay with me and my husband over the summer, and I typically buy Christmas gifts from Hamleys as well. The toy finder is great if you're not quite sure what to give as a gift, but otherwise I find the site to be very well organised and it's easy to find what you are looking for. I always off for the gift packaging for an extra special touch. When the toys arrive they're packaged in such gorgeous boxes that you almost hate to open them!

Hamleys quality without the long drive, 09 Jul 2011Review by Anita KrausI always take my little ones to Hamleys just before Christmas to let them see the store all lit up and to choose a little something to ask Father Christmas for. And they love it. But I’ve found the website is really handy as well. We don’t live near any of the stores, so it’s nice to be able to get Hamleys quality without driving to London or York. There’s a toy finder on the right-hand side of the main ad on the homepage, so you can type in the age and gender of your child, and the site gives you great gift-giving ideas to get you started. I love this tool. But I also love the “Top Girls” and “Top Boys” buttons, as they give me a good idea of which toys are trending at that particular time. I just got a Harry Potter wand for my son, and I know he’s going to love it. Knowing it’s from Hamleys will be a bonus.
