Made my wedding planning hassle free, 08 Nov 2011Review by Bride to beI'd stayed at the Chilston Park Hotel on a mini break with my fiance and fell in love with it. We were thinking of going back, and when I looked on the Hand Picked Hotels website saw they offered weddings. I immediately downloaded their brochure and went through all of the information on the site, it was very helpful to see the different room capacities especially. After a quick talk with my mum, I knew it was the place for us. I sent an enquiry on the site which was promptly returned and we arranged a tour with my family. Booked the date and thrilled for my June wedding - thank you Hand Picked Hotels!

Fantastic gift idea for my parents, 15 Jul 2011Review by Jessica M.My mum deserved a bit of pampering for her birthday so I thought it would be nice to give her and my dad a gift voucher to stay at a luxury hotel. I went through all of the choices on the site and they had different prices for the different hotels (the posher ones obviously were more money). The one I chose was £180, it included bed and breakfast and they could choose from 6 of the properties, so I liked that at least that option was left to my parents. They were thrilled with the gift and buying the voucher online made the process really easy!

I felt like the hotel really was handpicked, 09 Jul 2011Review by Jackie BassI wanted to find a nice hotel for my anniversary in order to surprise my husband. A friend recommended this site, and I’m so glad she did. I just typed in the area I wanted, and it came up with two beautiful hotels I’d never heard of. So I booked one of them. We’ve been married 10 years, and this hotel was by far the smartest place we’ve ever stayed in together. Proper wood furniture. Impeccable service. Great bed and food. I will definitely come back to Handpicked before our next holiday. Some of the choices are really pricey, but if you’re only staying a nice or two, sometimes it’s nice to splurge.
