Jessops Promotional Codes

Photography isn't just a means of capturing great memories – for many, it's also an art-form. And, when it comes to finding everything you need to support your hobby, there really is only one place – Jessops. The Jessop Group was founded in 1935 by photographer, Frank Jessop. The company expanded considerably under Jessop's son, Alan, until it was sold in 1996. By 2007, and its 187th store opening, Jessops was suffering from financial difficulties, however, continued to trade until January 2013, when it formally entered administration. British entrepreneur Peter Jones rescued the company in May 2013 leading to the re-opening of twenty stores, and the revival of Jessop's online retail website. While the company is considerably smaller than it once was, it continues to offer customers unrivalled value and best in class customer service - both online, and in-store! A high street photography specialist for over 75 years, Jessops offer an unrivalled choice of digital and analogue cameras, cases and accessories. Jessops provide printing services in partnership with Cewe (Best in Print), allowing both high street and online customers to harness their creativity for a wide range of inspired gift ideas, including calendars, wall art and iPhone cases. Jessops offer numerous cashback incentives across their Canon and Nikon ranges, coupled with exclusive online deals that can save you as much as 40% on photo development and gifts. Spend over £50 and you'll automatically get free next day delivery on your order, or the option for free collection at your local store if preferred. Capturing memories doesn't have to cost the earth. Save on cameras, accessories and printing services with one of our online discount codes!

Jessops Customer Reviews

Great site for getting all the information you need

I have hundreds and hundreds of old negatives that I wanted to make digital. But when I priced having that done professionally, it was going to cost hundreds of pounds. So I decided instead to buy a film scanner and do it myself at a leisurely pace. The problem was finding an affordable scanner. I didn’t need one of these high-end professional jobs that costs hundreds. I wanted something for home use. Well Jessops has a great selection on offer, and the descriptions were so helpful in leading to my decision. Sometimes these technology-based sites are a bit much, especially if you don’t know exactly what you want, but I think Jessops is pretty straight forward with their approach, and I found the site to be educational and easy to use.

Just as trustworthy as the guys in my local shop

I know this isn’t the cheapest place to find photography equipment, but I’ve always trusted my local Jessops, and I really appreciate the selection on offer here. I trust the products the store carries, and I always seem to have great luck with the quality. The website simply offers me an easy chance to compare products, read details, compare prices, etc. It’s really well organised. I find it reassuring to get my equipment from Jessops.

The lenses buying guide helped me learn loads about my camera

A digital SLR was my gift for Christmas and since then I have slowly been learning the ropes on the fancy camera end of things. I never realised how much these lenses cost (900 quid?!) but it was nice that Jessops had a buyers guide so you can read about the different lenses and what sort you should get based on what you want it for photo-wise. I didn't wind up buying one, but now I'm armed with information and I suppose I'll have a think about it. In the meantime I did order a new memory card and a cleaning kit, the delivery free next day is only valid if you spend over 50 which is a shame since I was just under.

Shopping Tips for Jessops

Offers and deals for you

Get more for your money by shopping in the ‘Clearance’ section of the Jessops website. This part of the site is brimming with DSLR, digital compact and compact system cameras, lenses, tripods, supports, bags, cases, flashguns, grips and accessories – all of which have been reduced to clear. All these items are only available in limited quantity, so if you spot a deal that seems too good to be true, make sure you get it into your basket straight away before it sells out.

Free delivery

When you spend more than £50 on the Jessops website, your order will be delivered the very next day within mainland UK free of charge. Orders less than this cost £1.99 or £3.99, depending on size, to be delivered. So if your order falls just a few pounds short of the free delivery mark, it’s worth checking out the ‘Clearance’ section of the Jessops website or stocking up on cheap accessories so your total order qualifies for free delivery. It could work out cheaper overall this way.

Free returns

If you’re not happy with anything you’ve bought from the Jessops website, you’ll be glad to know that you can return all orders for free for a full refund. To get your money back, take your unwanted item to your nearest Jessops store. Jessops does its best to match the UK’s leading camera specialists, but sometimes price reductions slip through the cracks. If you find an item on sale from Argos, Currys, John Lewis, Park Cameras, PC World or Wex Photographic for less than Jessops sells it for, Jessops will match the cheaper price. To claim on the price match, visit the product page on the Jessops website and click on the price match link.
