Dressing up as a couple of cartoon characters, 12 Jul 2011Review by Mike WhittingsaleThe theme of the party was cartoon characters. Gee, thanks. That’s easy to find at your local costume hire shop. Urgh! Luckily, we found Jokers Masquerade. My wife thought I’d look good as Sponge Bob, but I suggested we go as a famous cartoon couple, so we opted for Fred and Wilma. The costumes got here in time, looked great, and they were a hit at our friend’s fancy dress party. We’ll definitely come back to this site for the next fancy dress event.

Wig didnt quite work out as hoped, 08 Jul 2011Review by J. LondersI've bought a Fred and Wilma costume pair from Jokers Masquerade and it was a hit so when I opted to dress like Lady Gaga for my brother's fancy dress party, I went on the site and ordered the Lady Gaga soda can wig. I found it fairly quickly by searching for Lady Gaga and there were at least 5 different Gaga wigs. I was a bit hesitant since it looked heavy but I decided to give it a go anyway. When I received the wig I tried it on but it was apparently fairly quickly that the wig was not going to work since my dark brown hair kept peeping out and then the wig would slide to the side b/c of the weight of the cans. Unfortunately I did not realise that you couldnt return wigs if worn, so I was out of luck. I wound up making do with the wig but next time I probably won't take a risk on a wig.
