I got stuck on a business trip and had to stay overnight two nights in London a few weeks back. I find London hotels to be overpriced and underwhelming at the best of times, so I was really not pleased with the prospect of two nights and being out of pocket for it. Urgh. I’d always loved travelling and staying in hostels when I was a kid, so I booked it and eagerly headed up to Harrow Road. I’m only 32, so it’s not like I’m an old fart looking to hang out with the kids. I was excited by the prospect of meeting international travellers and acting like a tourist for a few days. And that’s exactly what I did. For 32 pounds total, I stayed for two nights in a hostel, made friends, enjoyed cheap coffee and had the least expensive weekend I’ve ever had in London. It was fab. My husband and I were visiting India for a business trip and decided at the last moment to visit the Taj Mahal for a weekend break. I went to Laterooms hoping to sort our trip and was happy w/ the prices offered. I should wait until the last minute more often because I certainly did not find prices like these when I looked into booking the break weeks ago! When I searched for the location and dates about 12-15 options appeared and then I could sort through all of them and view the photos. If I'm going to nit pick I would say that the photos should be a bit larger, but other than that I was pleased with the experience booking from Laterooms and would absolutely look at them again when searching for a hotel.
