Easy to book hotels through this efficient site, 27 Jul 2011Review by Tom BIt’s so easy to search for a hotel room on this site. I just told it what city I wanted and the dates, and up popped numerous selections. I would have preferred more photographs of the destinations and hotels on offer, but I did appreciate how quickly the system came up with the options. Through the main navigation, after booking, I was able to look up the hotel name and see a great description as well as photos, and now I’m really excited about my stay.

Relaxing break at The Lymm Hotel , 06 Jul 2011Review by Harold TaylorI was looking to book a weekend break for my anniversary and decided to take advantage of the summer breaks offer from Macdonald Hotels. They advertised breaks starting at 49/per night, and of course I knew that meant hardly any hotels would be 49 pounds, and we wound up paying about 60 for our hotel (The Lymm), which was a great price anyway. Breakfast was included and it was delicious, and the hotel itself was lovely although the furnishings were a bit dated. The only downside was the 15 pound voucher to use toward the spa or a meal was only good Sunday through Thursday, and with us checking out on Sunday we were not able to use it.
