Happy to see personalised holiday gifts, 06 Dec 2011Review by CamilleI never knew they offered personalised Christmas gifts at Mothercare, but when I went on the site to pick out a small gift for a friend's baby, I immediately clicked on the picture to go to the personalised bit of the site instead. The 1st Christmas bauble was gorgeous so I ordered that straight away and had her name printed on it. Really easy and also affordable for a nice little pressie. I didn't need to look anywhere else so it was great to tick this off my to-do list at Mothercare! Quick checkout, too.

Was able to outfit my entire nursery in one order, 02 Aug 2011Review by BradAs our baby was an adoption, my partner and I didn't have much notice to sort the nursery and get everything in order for the baby's arrival after we found out he was definitely ours. Mothercare was a lifesaver - we just ordered everything online and it arrived within a few days; the delivery being so fast was such a relief for us. The prices were great as well, and we were able to take advantage of a sale and free delivery.
Their buying guides really helped in this process, especially as we had limited time to comparison shop and do research on products. They have videos and articles about everything from push chairs to sleeping safety, and it eased my mind when it came to ordering the best items. I also used their 'ultimate shopping planner' which definitely was nice in making sure I had everything we needed for the baby. We're really happy with all of the things we've ordered, from the crib to bath toys. -
Best rated reviews help me decide, 15 Jul 2011Review by Debra WAs a new mum, I rely on others’ opinions for getting the best products I can for my newborn son. Mothercare’s site is great for this. I can check all the best-rated products, read all about them and then decide. I rely on Mothercare because I know they carry the best brands, and then I narrow down my choices by looking at customers’ opinions about those products. So far, I’ve been thrilled with the cot selection and pushchair, so I’ll be coming back in future for all my childcare needs.

Mothercare online is perfect for new mums, 26 Jun 2011Review by Tessa WhitfieldAs a new mum, the last thing I want to do is go shopping with my newborn son. He sleeps so much of the time, and I hate to disturb him. But I need supplies, so I’ve turned to Mothercare online, and so far, so good. In the past few weeks, I’ve ordered twice.
Granted, the site isn’t that exciting to look at, but if you know what you’re looking for, it’s dead easy. Last week I ordered stuff for bathing my boy. I needed a baby tub, flannels, toys, mild soaps, etc. That was so easy. I just clicked on “bathing” and up popped everything I could possible need, from tubs to soaps and shampoos to nail clippers and more.
I had also been trying to come up with a solution for darkening windows around the house as needed for naptimes, and I found the perfect solution. It’s called the “Gro Anywhere Blackout Blind” and it’s portable, so you can adjust it to fit any window. Or you can take it on holiday with you. This thing is fab. I had looked at the hardware stores for a similar item without luck, so Mothercare really has mum’s in mind here. Brilliant!
Also, I’ve found that my back and side ache after breastfeeding, so I decided to buy a purpose-made pillow. I found the My Brest Friend Breastfeeding pillow on Mothercare and ordered it. Since it arrived, we’ve both been so much more comfortable during feedings.
I’m sure I could find all these items in store as well, but I find it so handy to be able to order online, rather than going out with nappies, wipes, changes of clothes, etc., to get exactly what I can from the comfort of my armchair with my computer. And deliver is free if you order more than £50 worth.

Overall pretty happy with the service at Mothercare, 01 Jun 2011Review by Karen EastwoodWhen I bought the MyChoice dresser had every intention of buying the MyChoice wardrobe and to go with it but because the dresser was priced at £400 and the Wardrobe at £500 I decided to buy them in stages as I had a lot of other expenses with a new born baby on the way. I was a bit disappointed to find that the price had dropped to nearly half the price when I went to buy the wardrobe which meant that had I waited for a month or so I would have paid a lot less and might have been able to buy both pieces at the same time.
The product itself though is very good and I love the way you can change the colour of the furniture to suit the room which will come in handy as my baby grows. The mothercare.com website is where I ordered them from and I can find no reason not to recommend it as I only shop with well known names online and I find their customer service was great when I called to confirm some delivery details.
A word of advice would be to make sure you check the offers and clearance section of the site as you can find some real bargains there that I don’t think you can pick up in the shop. I’m not planning on having any more kids for a while but I will be using the mothercare.com website if I ever do or if I have to buy a present for a baby shower or something.
