Orange is slowly improving service, 03 Jul 2011Review by FrankI was using Orange a while back and left for another provider because my service was terrible...as others have mentioned dropped calls were an issue routinely and customer service was not always the best. I found that the other provider wasnt much better and honestly the pricing with Orange was more competitive, so when I took a look round I decided to go back to Orange. This time the service has been noticeably improved and whilst it's not what I could call great, it's loads better than what I experienced last time.

Orange provides the best service of the big 4 phone networks, 01 Jun 2011Review by Colin JefferiesAfter doing the rounds with various mobile broadband networks I have come to the conclusion that Orange.co.uk provides the best service so far. I know things are improving all the time and that may have contributed to the increased quality in reception and download speeds that I’m now experiencing but given what I have learnt I will not be changing from Orange now that I have a reliable and useable service.
My one and only gripe is that their customer services are based in another country and although I only called them initially when I needed some help with configuring my device I think that I would have been much better off if they were UK based. I have to say though that if it means providing a better service at a better price which is what they do then I can suffer having to speak slowly over the phone once every now and then and at least they knew what they were talking about.
I use my broadband with my iPad and I can really compare normal surfing usage with the sort of speeds that I get when I’m at home and this even stretches to streaming content from YouTube and such. I have seriously considered transferring my home broadband to Orange as well but I’m a little concerned about having all my eggs in one basket so I’ll stick with just the mobile broadband from Orange.co.uk for the time being. -
Orange have been very good to me, 15 May 2011Review by m.z,KhanI wasn't particularly impressed with Orange before the recent merger with T-Mobile. I'd had dropped calls, regular problems trying to get online and customer services kept on giving me false information when I wanted to change my number. They aren't particularly good but still much better than other mobile phone companies.
I got 2 mobiles through Dialaphone who were great, but DD was setup to pay with Orange and it went ok until I tried to finish the contract,
they told me that it would be cancelled the next Month and that the DD had to come off in advance and I would be refunded a month later. Overall, the service has been good.
