Location, location, location!! , 15 Jul 2011Review by WilliamI was looking for a deal on a hotel in London that was in a central location near a tube and chose the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes based on reviews and the price, plus the info on the Park Plaza site. It took a minute to sort everything on their website and I was excited about the trip. When we arrived the hotel was in a fantastic location a minute or two walk from Baker St tube but as the building was quite old the temperature was hard to regulate and we woke up sweating most nights, eventually having to open the windows. For a central London hotel you really can't beat the value but I would hope they could do something about the heating issue. Otherwise I can't fault the Park Plaza and I'd certainly book with another of their properties in the future.
