BHS (British Home Stores) is a UK company which opened in Brixton in 1928. In 1931 BHS became a company that was publicly held. Once it was well established in the UK it launched successful stores in the rest of Europe, in Gibraltar, in Russia, and finally in the Middle East. These stores are licensed as franchises and are not owned directly by BHS. In the future there are continued plans for expansion, as the company sees the need to move forward with more stores and more offerings of valuable goods to the public. With clothing, housewares, and gifts, BHS brings a lot to the shopping scene, but does not completely compete with rivals who offer larger product lines. However, they still provide a quality environment.

BHS has a lot to offer for customers who are looking for clothing for men, women, and children. They also offer homeware and wedding and gift ideas. Our Review
BHS is a bit of an anomaly because it has stores in places where other UK stores have not gone, such as Russia and the Middle East. It seems to be very strong on customer service, but light on products in the sense that there are a lot of other stores which offer more styles and more options. This is both good and bad. The store is less crowded that way, and shoppers are not overwhelmed because there isn't quite so much to see and choose from. Some shoppers want to get everything they can at one store, though, and BHS might not have enough for them. Customer service is important, but only if it's coupled with what customers want from their total shopping experience, and that means products.
