Raileasy Promotional Codes

Gone are the days of leisurely train journeys. The Train Bleu and the Orient Express, once the delight of the very wealthy, have either passed into legend, had the name appropriated by a high-end French restaurant, or become extremely expensive tourist attractions. Today, train riders look to the train to get them from Point A to Point B quickly and cheaply. And they look to Raileasy to help them figure out the "cheaply" part. Accredited by National Rail, Raileasy helps train travellers save up to 80% on their fare. Travellers simply plug in their destination and travel dates, and Raileasy will automatically list a variety of options, cheapest first. Those who like the idea of having a place to sleep besides the rail station will want to use the site's Train + Hotel booking feature to find package deals. And travellers never have to worry about paying too much for their travel. If they find a cheaper fare for the same trip, Raileasy will refund the original purchase. Discover how travelling within the UK and crossing the channel is real easy with Raileasy.

Raileasy Customer Reviews

Good discounts on Eurostar tix

I went to Raileasy looking for Eurostar tickets to Paris for a family holiday with my three teenage daughters. They advertised them starting at £69 but unfortunately I was not able to find them in that range. The cheapest were about 89 quid a piece, and they did not offer the junior fare tickets so I would need to pay for four adults. I checked the prices on other rail websites including the actual Eurostar site, they were 160+ per person! I realised what a discount the Raileasy tickets actually were and wound up booking them. The process was quite fast and I felt relieved knowing how much money I saved on the trip. Would recommend them to others looking to travel to Paris.

Shopping Tips for Raileasy

Offers and Deals for You

Free Audiobook

Take the boredom out of your next train journey by downloading a free audiobook from Raileasy! To get your hands on this freebie, all you have to do is type your name and email address into the appropriate boxes on the free audiobook page which you’ll find under the ‘Offers’ section of the website. When you’ve typed in your details, you’ll receive a link by email which you’ll need to click on. Then simply choose your audiobook from the ones available and get downloading! When you input your details, you’ll automatically be added onto Raileasy’s mailing list, so expect to receive sales and marketing emails from time to time. If you’re only interested in the free audiobook and you don’t want to be bothered by follow-up emails, simply click on the ‘unsubscribe’ link which you’ll find at the bottom of every Raileasy email you receive.

Split Ticketing

If you’ve left it too late to take advantage of cheap early bird rates, you can still make some mega savings by using the split ticketing method. By breaking down your journey into several different parts and booking each leg separately, you’ll pay a lot less for many routes than you would if you booked your journey as a whole. There is a special section on split ticketing on the Raileasy website which will walk you through the money saving process if you’re new to it.

Extra Money Saving Tips

Follow Raileasy Online

One of the best ways of saving money with Raileasy is to follow them online. The train ticket booking service has active social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter where they upload all sorts of posts designed to help you save on your next journey. When you’re connected online, you can expect to see info about ticket sales, tips for getting tickets cheaper, price drops on selected journeys and competitions you can enter to win all sorts of prizes. Each of the social media pages is updated around once every day, so make sure you check back on a daily basis if you want to keep up with everything that’s going on.

Book Early

When you book your train tickets early, not only will you have the best selection of times and dates to choose from, but you’ll also be able to take advantage of the lowest rates going. On average, train tickets booked as early in advance as possible are 80% cheaper than tickets booked on the day of departure. And those are huge savings too good to miss out on! Tickets usually go on sale about 12 weeks ahead of time. So if you get organised and plan your journey well in advance, you could save bundles of cash.

Best Fare Guarantee

Although Raileasy stands by their statement that the best way to save money on train fares is to book in advance, they admit that sometimes the prices do drop closer to the departure dates. If you’ve already booked your train tickets through Raileasy and then see the exact same journey available on the Raileasy website for a cheaper price, you should re-book your train tickets at the lower price. After booking your tickets again, send an email to refunds@raileasy.co.uk, explaining the situation, and they’ll refund you the cost of the more expensive tickets.
