I've been buying dresses from Rare since I first saw them as a concession in a high street store when I was a teenager. I hate going out on a saturday and wearing something all my friends have seen me in before, but the problem with buying a new outfit every week is that, if it's straight off the shelves, someone else is bound to have it too! To avoid the cringe factor of having a dress twin when I get to the club I like to shop in independent shops, boutiques and at concessions. That's why Rare has become a favourite of mine. Because they are concession and internet only, they are often not the most popular choice - but more fool the ones who are missing out!

I don't think the quality is particularly good. They look great when they arrive and you can get good wear out of them for a bit, but soonish they start looking a bit shabby. It's definitely not enough to put me off the individual designs though - I always get a compliment in a Rare dress!

The dresses here are fantastic for parties, and they’re never too expensive. It’s not like they start at £200 and get knocked back. Instead they start around £45 and come down from there. I just picked up a little jersey dress for £7. Seven quid! And these are really stylish clothes. I check the lines constantly to see if there’s anything new I like. There are a lot of clothes here that I would consider a bit tacky, so I leave them alone, but I’m happy to snap up a deal of trendy clothing if and when the price is right. And it often is here.
