Fun times playing with Sky Bet, 22 Dec 2011Review by Fulham25Just signed up today since I have a fortnight off for the Christmas holiday and thought I'd want something to pass the time when the family gets a bit annoying (my in laws are coming to stay!) It was dead simple to sign up for the site and once I figured out how to play, it's great fun. I'll definitely not be spending loads of money here, but it's entertaining to place a bet here and there. Plus, I won't complain about some extra money in my pocket!

Really easy way to bet on football, 25 Aug 2011Review by BrianWhilst I'm not a huge gambler, I like to put some money on football from time to time, and some of my work mates use Skybet so they convinced me to join. I've been using Skybet for about two months and haven't any problems to date - I thought the process to register was much less complicated than I expected and placing a bet is fast as well. It's fun to compete with the guys over the different matches and who wins/loses. I know you can use Sky TV to place a bet, but to date I've just been using the website, and that works fine for me. They list all of the current football matches on the homepage so it's pretty straightforward to find what you want to bet on.

Avoid this bunch of idiots at all costs, 02 Jun 2011Review by Arthur1. Firstly, they sometimes refuse to take a bet the size of a round of drinks, but state they will take one of £x, where x is less than a pound.
2. After being with them for less than six months but managing to lose 20% of my account, I got this email:
A recent review by our trading team has highlighted concerns over how the free bet offer has been used on your account. As a result, your account has been excluded from the Sky Bet Loyalty offer indefinitely and your stamps will no longer be updated.
As per Term 12 of this promotion, "12. Sky Bet reserves the right to exclude any customers at our discretion." This decision is final and no discussion will be entered into.
And, as promised at the end, their alleged customer service dept flatly refused to discuss it. I got my money back, after a fashion, and closed the account. The words Mouse and Mickey spring to mind when reviewing this lot.
