Shopping Tips for Stena Line UK

Offers and Deals For You

Special Offers

Get the most for your money by shopping in the ‘Special Offers’ section of the Stena Line website. Here you’ll find a huge selection of fantastic bargains just waiting to be snapped up, including buy-one-get-one-free deals on day trips, massive discounts on car travel, caravans-go-free offers and huge savings on cruises. These promos are regularly updated, so if none of the ones currently available interest you, be sure to check back in a couple of weeks to see what’s been added in the meantime.

Loyalty Programme

Extra Loyalty Scheme

If you regularly travel with Stena Line, it’s definitely worth signing up for their Extra Loyalty Scheme. This rewards programme is free to sign up for and when you do, you’ll earn one loyalty point for every £1 you spend with Stena Line. When you’ve saved up enough loyalty points, you can start spending them on all sorts of travel-related goodies, including motorist, foot passenger and Dutchflyer fares. As well as the loyalty points, being part of the Extra Loyalty Scheme will also entitle you to 5% off all purchases made in the shop onboard the Harwich to Hook of Holland ferries (on everything but alcohol and tobacco). And if you earn 1,000 points in your first year of membership, you’ll be upgraded to the gold programme which entitles you to free entry in the Stena Plus lounge for you and the guest of your choice, no telephone booking fees and a better rate when redeeming points for cash.

Business Traveller

If you use Stena Line for business travel, you could make huge savings by signing up for their Business Traveller loyalty scheme. Just like the Extra Loyalty Scheme, this reward programme is free to sign up for and when you become a member, you’ll immediately get 10% off all foot passenger and car public fares. Your discount will increase up to 12.5% if you make more than 60 single or 30 return trips and again up to 15% if you travel on 100 single or 50 return trips.

Tesco Clubcard

Are you a Tesco Clubcard point hoarder? Then you’ll be glad to know you can exchange your Tesco Clubcard points for Boost Tokens which you can then use to pay for Stena Line ferry crossings! There is no limit to the number of Tesco Clubcard Boost Tokens you can use to pay for bookings on the Fishguard to Rosslare and Holyhead to Dublin Port or Dun Laoghaire routes, but there are limits on other routes. You can only use your tokens to pay for a maximum of £105 on a single journey or £210 for a return journey on the Belfast to Cairnryan and Harwich to Hook of Holland routes. Sadly, you can’t use your points at all on the Belfast to Liverpool route. To pay for your journey with your Tesco Clubcard Boost Tokens, simply exchange your Clubcard vouchers for Boost Tokens then call Stena Line and make your booking at least 14 days before departure. After that, you’ll need to write your booking reference on each Boost token and post them to Stena Line. It’s a bit of hassle, but it’s worth it for the savings!
