Tesco Direct Customer Reviews

What can't you find from Tesco?

Online shopping is my most favourite thing some days since I'm on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy. I've bought everything from baby toys and nappies to dishes and things for my dog. The prices are always great, and the service can't be faulted. Never a problem with my orders so far, so that's brilliant in my book. The site is easy to shop on and everything is where you expect it to be...and I don't have to leave my couch!

Shopping Tips for Tesco Direct

Offers and Deals for You

Whatever you’re after, you’ll find it for a fantastic price in the ‘Clearance’ section of the Tesco Direct website. This part of the site is full of all kinds of items from across the retailer’s range (including stationery, watches, technology, entertainment, electricals, beauty products, sports equipment, DIY tools, jewellery, Christmas decorations, furniture, kitchenware, home accessories, toys and baby products) which have been seriously reduced or put on special offer to clear. Since all these items are no longer stocked by Tesco Direct, they’re all in very limited quantities. So if something catches your eye, add it into your basket as soon as possible if you don’t want to dip out.

If nothing in the ‘Clearance’ section tickles your fancy, check out the ‘Offers’ page instead. Here you’ll find all sorts of money saving promos, from half price discounts, bundle offers and BOGOF deals to bonus Clubcard points, free gifts and general price drops. These offers are updated all the time, so if none of them are quite what you’re looking for when you first take a peek, check back in a week or so to see what’s been added since.

Cashback deals also make a regular appearance on the Tesco Direct website, usually on expensive gadgets like camera lenses, digital cameras and computers. To get the cashback, you need to purchase the item between selected dates, make the claim between a different set of dates and upload a copy of the receipt. If you make a claim at the wrong time or fill out the form incorrectly, you won’t get your cashback. So make sure you double check the dates and the form before you send it off.

Free Click and Collect

Forget about paying for delivery costs and collect your order from your local Tesco store instead. This delivery option is free when you spend £30+ and you can pick your order up from any Tesco store you like, even Tesco Express stores. If you place your order before 5pm, you’ll be able to pick your order up after 3pm the next day.

Loyalty Programme

Tesco Clubcard

If Tesco is your favourite supermarket, it’s definitely worth signing up for a Tesco Clubcard. This card lets you earn one point for: every £1 spent in-store and online with Tesco, every £1 spent with Tesco Direct, every £2 spent on Tesco Fuel and every £1 spent on Tesco mobile. You can also earn Tesco Clubcard points with E.ON, Esso, TopCashback, Blackcircles, LivingSocial, blinkbox, NutriCentre and Shopper Thoughts. You can convert points into vouchers and then exchange them for everything from gift cards and discounts on your Tesco shopping to meals at restaurants and days out. When using your Tesco Clubcard with Tesco Direct, keep an eye out for Tesco Clubcard Boost offers which can net you up to four times more loyalty points than normal.
