This week’s been a great week for bargain finds. While we were away at Chessington my mum took over the bargain hunter crown. She sent me a message saying she had found 22 packs of nappies for £33 in the clearance section in Boots. This was the picture she sent me, an entire table full of nappies all in sizes for my youngest and our new little one on the way.

She managed to get it even cheaper, as the 3 for 2 offers that was on some of the nappies still applied even though they were on clearance. So a great bargain find.

Our recent trip to Lincoln also revealed some great bargains. I had £13 in points on my Boots card as well as a coupon loaded to my card for a free bottle and dummy. As my local store is very limited on stock, this shopping trip was a perfect time to use them. I picked up the free bottle which was originally £7.99 and they also had a great sale on baby clothes. So, I picked up 2 outfits and a vest for £13 and used my points to pay, meaning it didn’t cost me a penny for the 4 items.

I even managed to get the last essential baby item I was missing this week as well. With only 9 weeks to go I’m just about all set. This Nuby electric steam steriliser and dryer was on offer online in Boots for half price. Originally it was £69.99, but it was on sale for £34.99, so I grabbed one.

The nursery has been overhauled on a grand total of £50. That included new paint and diy accessories, new curtains, new blinds, new rug, and a few other bits. I mostly upcycled all the furniture and made it look brand new. All that is left to do is get my hospital bag ready and put away all those tiny little clothes.
