These days one of the best ways to get of-the-moment personal finance information is on Twitter. If you follow the right Tweeps you can also get discounts, deals and money saving tips on a regular basis regardless of whether or not you follow all of the top personal finance blogs. So which people on Twitter should you be following if you want to stay abreast of the world of personal finance? We’ve culled together a list of 25 of the best personal finance Twitterers for you to check out:

  1. @MoneyWatch. This Twitter account for the popular UK personal finance blog of the same name provides lots of great links and money tips. Additionally this Tweep has been listed on 100+ Twitter lists and you can follow those links to find additional great finance news on Twitter if you are so inclined.
  2. @PensionsGuru. Pensions are an important niche topic in the world of UK finance and this Tweep shares a lot of useful information and news about them to help you out with your own financial planning.
  3. @YouCouldSave. This Tweep has been on numerous important lists including the Top 20 Twitter Accounts to Save You Money. The blog that it’s connected with is ranked as a Times Online Top 20 Best British Personal Finance Blog. You’d be remiss not to follow this Twitterer!

13. @moneywiseonline. If you are a savvy personal finance fan then you are probably familiar with Moneywise, the UK personal finance magazine. Stay on top of their current news and thoughts by following the magazine on Twitter.

    I’m now following a couple of those. I still think blogs are more effective and valuable though. I’ve been concentrating on saving money by reducing certain expenses like health insurance lately.
