Selfridges runs two main sales each year – one in winter and one in summer – when almost everything in the stores and on the website is massively discounted. The exact dates of the sales are usually released a couple of weeks beforehand, so keep an eye on the social media channels or subscribe to the newsletter in October or May so you’ll be one of the first to hear about them. These sales are incredibly popular, so if you see something you like, you need to bag it ASAP – before someone else beats you to it!

Free Click and Collect

Say goodbye to unnecessary delivery costs with Selfridges’ free click and collect option. This delivery service lets you place and pay for your order online and then pick it up in the London, Birmingham, Manchester Exchange Square or Manchester Trafford Square branch of Selfridges. If you order before 10pm, you’ll be able to pick up your stuff the very next day. If you order after that, you’ll have to wait one extra day to pick it up. All customers picking up click and collect orders from the London store are also treated to 30 minutes free parking – bonus!

Free Returns

If you’re not as happy with your Selfridges order as you thought you would be, you can return it free of charge for a full refund. To get your money back, take your unused items with all their labels and tags intact to any Selfridges store. If you don’t live close to any Selfridges store you can fill out the returns form, package it up with the things you want to return, print out the returns label, stick it on the front of the package and drop it off at your local Post Office. A third option is to log onto the website and use Selfridges’ free courier service if your order is worth £250+. As long as the items you’re returning are in perfect condition and you send them back within 14 days, you’ll have no problems getting your money back.

Free Personal Shopping Consultations

Whether you’re shopping for a whole new wardrobe, a single wow-worthy outfit or you just need help deciding what to wear, Selfridges personal shoppers will be happy to give you a hand. Each in-store consultation with a free personal shopper lasts for around two hours, during which qualified staff will use their professional know-how to find just what you’re looking for. Although the consultations are free, there is a minimum spend of £2,000 in the London store and £500 in all other branches.
