My wife and I are both big fans of rally driving and Formula 1. Last year she was driving her car in the snow and she lost control quite seriously and skidded a long way. Luckily the roads were empty so thankfully she went unscathed, however it's easy to understand that it knocked her driving confidence quite seriously and she's been a bit shaky ever since. Her birthday was a little over a month ago and as a present I got her an experience at Silverstone. It was a "Skid Control" experience and I thought it might help her gain some confidence back as well as teaching her some valuable skills about how to be safe in bad weather. Unsure whether she was going to love it or flip out at me I was nervous about presenting her with it. The reaction was kind of mixed, she was excited but very nervous about the whole thing. When the day came though she said her experience was absolutely fantastic and she was all smiles. Her attitude towards driving really changed and I can only thanks Silverstone for this. She said the experience was extremely informative but also very fun. My experience with booking was very simple and clear and for £99 the experience was well worth the money. I'd definitely book again, in fact, I'm kind of hoping my son will grow up a bit quicker so we can both try the Hypersonic! 5 stars.
