Hope you don't need it but if things go wrong......, 06 Oct 2011Review by AnnaWell I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in my home country. Why you need it (as I'm sure you know) is in case you ever need to get repatriated to uk (or even need an upgrade due to a plaster cast on your leg), or (heaven forbid) need to bring a deceased one back home. I guess someone can take the risk ... up to the traveller ... but so often hear pleas for funds to be raised to bring a family member back to UK. Someone one said to me, 'if you can't afford travel insurance, you can't afford to go'. I think John Lewis offers a truly great product.

Covered for our honeymoon to Australia , 07 Sep 2011Review by australia_boundMy wife was insistent on us getting travel insurance for our upcoming honeymoon to Australia, as she's concerned with such a long trip if something goes wrong and so forth. Honestly I've never had travel insurance in my life, but she purchased it for trips on her own, and swears by it. I gave in and got a quote from John Lewis and was surprised at just how reasonable it was, so I bought the policy. I was pleased that you could get the quote online, and it was quite simple to sort everything. I still am not convinced we need it, but at least the price was right and my wife is happy.
