Was worth it for my Vegas trip..., 27 Jun 2011Review by Holly BreitmayerMy girlfriends planned a big holiday to Las Vegas to celebrate all of our 40th birthdays. While I was excited, I’ve never set foot in a casino and didn’t want to look like a fool on the gaming floor amongst all of the regular players. My brother loves to play online casino games and uses 21Nova, so I sat with him and watched for a bit before I committed to opening my own account.
It was slightly complicated to start since you have to download some software, set up an account and so forth. My computer is terribly slow, so this process took a while and I nearly gave up. Once it was running everything worked fine, and I did appreciate that you can play for fun or play for cash, so I was able to learn the games without having to actually lose money. I had a bit of fun playing them on the computer and once I got to Vegas I felt confident enough to try craps and won $50 on my first go!
While it was valuable for me to learn the ropes of the games in advance, I wouldn’t continue to play at home. I feel like the temptation is too great to play for money, and honestly I learned gambling isn’t my cup of tea. If gaming is your thing, 21nova is probably the place to go, however.
