Nice shades to block out the sun, 27 Jun 2011Review by Mrs. Regina JonesMy husband recently purchased a new TV for our sitting room, but the light through our large window made it impossible to watch the telly without an awful glare on the screen.
My neighbour ordered her blinds through 247 Blinds and suggested I look into the blackout option.
The website says that they are ideal for TV viewing rooms, but I was still skeptical. Even so, we went ahead and ordered the shades in white (we selected the Brescia blackout range of roller shades). The shopping process was simple and the delivery was speedy. I have to say I was shocked when we hung them in the sitting room and the sun was instantly blocked out. Now we can watch the telly without the annoying glare. Although the shades are light coloured and show dust easily, they have a wipe clean surface so it’s not an issue when I’m cleaning.
These blinds were the perfect solution. I won’t hesitate to shop with 247 Blinds again when I need window treatments, as the range of shades and blinds were really nice and I spotted a few items for other rooms of our home that I wouldn't mind purchasing.
