Most people I know think of Amazon for books but really they sell loads more. I’ve bought everything from jewellery for my wife to house gadgets from Amazon, and many times when I’m trying to find a hard to track down item Amazon carries it when other websites don’t. The super saver delivery is also brilliant. Who wants to pay 7 or 8 pounds for delivery when it could be free? The few times I’ve needed to make a return the process was straightforward and I received a credit to my account in a few day’s time.

I’ve found their prices on books to be amongst the lowest out there, and recently I went ahead and ordered a Kindle. I was hesitant to make the change from paper books but a few colleagues have e-readers and told me I had to give it a go. At first it took some adjustment, but now I love it! I’m no longer crowding the house with books I’ll likely never read again and the e-book prices are lower than an expensive hardcover. I’ve purchased two or three e-books from Amazon at really low prices, and I like how unknown authors can upload their works as e-books and get some attention via the site.

I will continue to be an Amazon shopper as long as they’re in business!

This is where I start all of my shopping. It's a great springboard for knowing how much is too much for a product. Clothing is a bit harder to find on Amazon, but it still offers a great price indicator for various
fashions. And I really love the ability to send different items from one order to various addresses. I do this every Christmas, and my family always gets their pressies on time and without hassle. It's brilliant. Also, I've found that Amazon's prices are often better than individual dealers, so that's great when you're trying to save a few bob. Most recently, I order two pairs of shoes through Amazon, and they were far better priced on Amazon than they were through their manufacturer. I don't understand how or why that is, but I'm not going to argue with it.
