Expedia Customer Reviews
Expedia is always a good option when searching for flights or hotels and the site overall is easy to use. Mostly I've booked flights but twice I've booked a holiday package and found the value to be great. They usually have some sort of offer for holidays so most times I can save a few quid by using them.
Let's get one thing straight, Expedia is definitely not the cheapest way to book a holiday. I've booked countless holidays online before, booking flights and hotels and tranfers separately wherever I could get the best deal for me and my (quite large) family. With work and moving house, my wife and I didn't have the energy to do it all from scratch this year so we booked everything through Expedia. They give you plenty of options to choose from and we still had plenty of input into what exactly we booked. Seeing everything in one place was a major bonus. There was lots of added extras available which, although they hiked the price up, definitely took away a lot of the stress of organising separately or once you're abroad. Over all we paid more but we were a lot happier and less tired by the time we boarded the plane and that, I think, is priceless.
I'm not one to shop around when I find something that works, so I've stuck with Expedia over the years. They have the easiest to use site, in my mind at least, and it works quickly. I hate waiting when you click for a flight and the hourglass keeps running whilst it searches. That typically doesn't happen for me with Expedia. I just booked a hotel room for a friend's wedding in Cancun and got to take advantage of a sale as well. The price was brilliant and it saved me some £ from the pricier hotel the couple had suggested. Quick and simple - that's what I like.
