Happy to be covered whilst travelling, 03 Jan 2012Review by Matthew B.Signed up for travel insurance through Churchill and found it to be quick and affordable, actually the price was better than I expected. I only wanted a single trip cover, but then opted to do annual since we plan to travel often enough in 2012 and really you can't be too careful when on the road. The quote form was straightforward and in a few minutes I had the policy sorted. Can't beat the ease of that and I'm happy with everything the policy covers, since my wife and I are starting to get on in years and knock on wood nothing will happen abroad, but you never know.

Named driver no claims credit are ideal, 24 May 2011Review by Robert PaulWith the cost of insurance stretching the finances to breaking point in recent years I often wondered how my son would ever be able to afford to insure his own car. He had some ridiculous quotes when shopping around and he seemed destined to be on my insurance until he was in his mid to late twenties.
I chose to get insurance for myself through Churchill.com when my own policy came up for renewal and I had something in the region of a 25% increase in cost despite the fact that my son who was previously a named learner driver having passed his test. Churchill.com wasn’t the cheapest out there but the benefits that came with the policy were far better than anything else that I could find.
The fact that my son could accrue a no claims bonus as a named driver was the thing that sealed the deal for me and the excess payments in the policy were a lot lower than similar policies in the price range. With any luck I’ll never have to use it but in the current climate I felt that I had to choose something that was going to benefit myself or my son in the long run.
Another benefit that you don’t get with other insurers is that your repairs are guaranteed for five years and that surely has to be worth paying an extra ten quid for as well as the 24 hour accident recovery line but I know that a lot of insurers do that these days as I had something similar with my old insurer.
