My parents celebrated their 30th anniversary this spring, so my siblings and I wanted to get them a really special gift to remember the occasion. My mum has always wanted to try a hot air balloon ride, so we decided it was about time they have a romantic champagne ride in one together. We found a nice package on Activity Gifts and chipped in together to get it for them. They just enjoyed their trip last week, and they could not have been happier. In fact, I was worried that dad wouldn’t really appreciate the experience as much, and that it was a one-sided gift, but that was not the case. They both loved it. My husband turned 50 a few weeks back and my daughters wanted to surprise him with a minibreak. When my daughter saw the white water rafting experience we decided that was it. Since he’s entering a new chapter in life it seemed perfect to give him an adventurous surprise for his birthday. I knew this would give us something fun and memorable to do together and we had the time of our lives! The instructors were thorough and patient and we felt very safe with all the provided equipment.

If you are looking for a memorable trip, white water rafting in Scotland surely delivers. We are not the most athletic of families but all had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend this experience to men and women of all ages (although I believe the limit was 65) and I know I will be shopping with Activity Gifts again!

For my parents for their anniversary I decided to celebrate their love of jazz.
