While still living at home I was terrible with money and buying second hand would never have crossed my mind, but like a lot of families both my parents were made redundant and we had to drastically change the way we spent money. We went from being able to buy whatever we liked to having to save for things and not being so wasteful. This is something that I have carried on into my own little family.
