I found this lovely dinner service on the Debenhams website. I had seen this set elsewhere but it was almost twice the price, so when I found it here I just had to buy it straight away. It was great being able to do this all from the comfort of my own home without having to traipse all over town to find just what I was looking for, thank god for the Internet. Anyway, my package arrived right on time and was extremely well packed so the dinner service arrived intact. In fact there was so much packaging that I will be re-using this to send things to my son in America which is my way of recycling things.
I have always liked Debenhams because they have such a good long standing reputation when it comes to the service they provide and their goods are always top quality items. I have bought many things from them in the past but this was the first time I have done it online. I must say the service was absolutely what I had expected from a store with such a good background, so I am happy to say that I will be returning to their website when I need to buy something else for myself or my home. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family from now on without any hesitation whatsoever as I am so pleased with how things went with my dinner service from them.
I used to love going to Debenhams for clothes and home furnishings. The problem is that the parking complex for the Debenhams closest to me charges a fortune for Saturday parking – to the tune of £22 the last time I went for just four hours. I think it’s ridiculous to have to pay to park to shop, particularly in the car park custom designed for the shop, so I’ve since decided to stick to online shopping at Debenhams. As in the store, I can find good deals online, and sometimes I wonder if the selection isn’t better online than it is in the store. I love the discount section – where I can select which discounts I’m looking for (70% or over please, ha). And the sale section is great for finding really good deals. I needed a new small suitcase and found one at Debenhams for less than half the original price. Brilliant! For the kids, all the cool brands they love are on offer, so that’s a bonus, and my husband really likes the ties I find for him there. Sometimes they offer free delivery, which is nice, but I have had to pay £3.99 for delivery. But that’s a lot cheaper than paying to park.
Debenhams has always been one of my go-to stores and I have fond memories of shopping with my mum as a child there. Now in the age of online shopping I tend to do more of my Debenhams shopping on their website. It’s quick to find the things I’m looking for and they always make it easy to find special offers and sales.
When I had my wedding in the spring I knew straight away that I’d set up my wedding list with Debenhams. The process was really straightforward and I made an appointment in store to get started, but wound up finishing the rest of the list online. It was easy to choose all of the items we wanted and add them to our wedding list. Whilst I was creating my wedding list online I also ordered all of our honeymoon necessities from Debenhams such as new swimwear, sunglasses and lingerie.
Our guests also appreciated the fact that they could shop online and have the items shipped straight to our flat with no worries about transporting large or bulky gifts to the wedding. I highly recommend taking advantage of the wedding list service to all brides and grooms out there.
We moved to the countryside a few years ago. For the most part, I love it, but I really miss access to decent shopping, like at Debenhams. So I’ve gone online almost completely for my clothes and housewares shopping, and Debenhams has proven a favourite online as well. It’s well designed and makes it easy to find all my favourite departments. And I can save time by simply going right to the sale section to start my searches. There’s always plenty on offer. That said, I often peruse the day dresses section, and I seem to find a full-price dress I need to have every time I come here. But even then the prices are reasonable – after all, it is Debenhams.
I've been looking for a new pair of nude courts for some time, but nothing quite ticked all the boxes for me - either fit, colour, heel height...but I was looking on the Debenhams site and found the perfect pair, and they were even on sale in their designer event, so I got them for a relative song at 12 quid!! The funny bit is that they look better and feel better than the 160 some pound shoes I tried on at another pricey department store. They arrived very quickly and I have no quibbles about the service. I'll be a loyal Debenhams shopper from now on!
