Founded by three tailors back in 1933, Windsmoor is a company dedicated to the idea of beautiful outerwear. Windsmoor's history is rich in culture, and it even has a namecheck in Betjeman's poem, 'Middlesex'. With their many successes, including appearing on the cover of Vogue, the tailors at …Windsmore definitely know elegance and sophistication. For clothing to help enjoy the blustery British weather, Windsmoor offers tailored shapes to withstand the wuthering heights of the UK climate. Coats are cut classically to flatter in soft buttermilks and lilacs to warm up winter, whilst chocolate and black bring a more traditional feel to proceedings. For those after a designer twist, the refined contemporary couturier Paul Costelloe offers his overview of the season's trends, bringing a touch of magic to the outerwear range. Meanwhile, dresses are demure but dashing, with skater, knee-length and maxis all on offer, transformable from dawn to dusk with just an inspired accessory. Their black bias cut skirt can transform any wardrobe while their embellished sweaters and lace panelled tops hit just the right notes for a subtle, wearable glamour that's set to enhance. » more

Windsmoor Customer Reviews
At my age I find it quite difficult to get suitable clothes without looking really old fashioned. I'm 65 and a lot of high street stores seem to either offer dresses with hem lines that I think are too high, or the alternative is to dress like a granny! I took to shopping online to find an alternative and luckily I was recommended Windsmoor by a friend. I've since invested in quite a few of their dresses as well as some jackets. Usually I stock up just before I head off on holiday in summer. I would say the only downside is the prices - they're a little high so I like to mix their pieces in with some cheaper ones. If I could I'd buy my whole wardrobe from them! The website is clear and easy to read and for someone who finds the internet quite a confusing place, it's a joy to use. Save up and then spend, that's my advice!
